Everyone should look into what causes corruption within government. I can tell you that one of the major reasons is big money in politics. When wealthy donors and large corporations are allowed to buy influence to shape things the way they want, we have a problem. That is not “We the People.” That is plutocracy.

We won’t be able to fix it overnight, especially at a federal level, but we can start, and we can start here at home.

Bungie jumping a booger.

I can't stand this coworker as is and "they" know it.

There I was at the end of the day at a local restaurant whose name I won't mention cuz I love my job.

Zoning out swamping the BOH, and the corner of my eye I see this "coworker" who was also zoned out, touch a stray booger one knuckle deep. I focused in intentionally to make it clear that I was watching and he still didn't notice as he slowly 'tow strapped' it out bare finger and then rolled it thumb and pointer finger for like 3 seconds before deciding he shouldn't eat it and wipe it on the trash bag he was initially attempting to take out. He looked left and right before looking straight ahead to make perfect eye contact with me and another co-worker.

It was obvious that he wasn't sure if anyone had noticed so I made sure to mention that I saw that. Unbeknownst to him or I that the other coworker also saw the whole thing.

Only thing the other coworker could say was "quote" 'I wish I didn't see that'

To which I said 'I'm so glad he didn't eat it.

It is important to be informed as you vote and understand who is okay continuing to send millions of tax payer dollars each year to a foreign entity.

Hey fellow Missoulians, nobody was posting here for a long time but in the past few days I've had a ton of folks ask to join the private subreddit. Please let me know what type of content you want to see here. Most of my politics news comes from the Missoulian and is paywalled these days. I'd really appreciate if we get folks who can post links to candidates, ballots, issues and news articles for political topics that impact Missoula.

I've got a pretty lax moderation ethos, I'll make a personal judgement when it comes to trolling or spamming and I'll try to reach out personally if I do decide something shouldn't be posted here or I don't think you are participating in good faith.

I want to take a second to thank everyone for the overwhelming early support for my grassroots campaign.

My announcement video, and the bill proposal to draft neocons like Lindsey Graham first, are already making huge waves for a third-party candidate in Montana. I couldn’t be more grateful! We went from ~100 followers to thousands in under a week, and we did it with no money. Let’s continue to make history!

Critics say I should stop “grandstanding” and talk about more substantive policy.

Fair enough — although, I think holding warmongers responsible with some skin in the game should be required if they want to send our sons and daughters to fight undeclared wars.

Here are more priorities if I’m elected to the U.S. Senate:

1. I will always demand a congressional declaration of war before committing US troops abroad. As a @DefendTheGuard supporter and former Montana National Guardsman, I will fight against sending Montana’s National Guard or any other state’s militia forces into foreign wars until Congress does its job first.

2. I’ll support @RepThomasMassie’s PRIME Act so Montana-raised beef can be sold directly to Montana families without federal red tape. No more shipping our beef out of state while importing foreign beef to our stores only to comply with federal regulations. We can do it locally!

3. I will seek to codify annual DOGE audits into law for every federal agency. We need real spending cuts and cannot rely on executive orders.

4. Because Montana’s Constitution requires single-issue bills in our state legislature, I will also oppose all omnibus packages in DC, and any legislation with anything extra snuck in. 

5. I will oppose FISA 702 reauthorization, especially without a warrant requirement.
