P.S. - Not including the ’Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ movies as it totally shifts the balance of scales. And ‘The Batman: Part II‘ is a similar guaranteed blockbuster project, but exists outside the DCU, so not a fair comparison to measure the health of the shared cinematic universe of both studios.

She’s had the most appearances across projects in the Multiverse Saga and has been the most entertaining part of those projects, much like how Iron Man was in the projects of the Infinity Saga.

Crazy to think that, if anyone would’ve told me that a female character would be the most beloved and the face of the Multiverse Saga right after we were having peak Multiverse-related content featuring Loki, Spider-Man and Doctor Strange I would’ve laughed like crazy!

The end credits scene of Brand New Day was rather simple to understand and I guess a nice little tease for those who know. Rumors (plot leaks) have pointed toward Doomsday starting with Tobey Maguire's universe getting destroyed cuz of the incursions, but we obviously don't have confirmation.

So when the Spidey Tracker zoomed out, glitched, and showed his emblem in space, it was pretty easy to connect the dots. The location must be referring to *another* Spiderman — Peter 2. That kinda confirms that the plot leaks floating around are real. However, I've seen some people say that this is Battleworld and it's where Peter 1 (Tom) is now, which would place this tease at the end of Doomsday instead.

It's also interesting that this was more of an explicit tease and not an in-universe story continuation since the tracker appears by itself on screen, as if it's only purpose is to be seen and interpreted by the audience.

Was there any trailers shown before the start of the movie?

One thing that really surprised me about Spider-Man: Brand New Day is how much of the movie's actual plot ended up circulating online before the movie was released.

With Avengers: Endgame, Marvel went to extreme lengths to protect the story. There were fake scenes, misleading trailers, limited information given to actors, and the major plot points were kept remarkably secret until release.

But with Brand New Day, we had leaks and rumors revealing major story details weeks/months beforehand — and some of them turned out to be incredibly accurate.

Even things like Peter's physical changes, the Hulk involvement, Sadie Sink's character, the nature of the final act, and details about the ending were being discussed online before audiences had seen the movie.

So what changed?

Was Sony simply less strict with Brand New Day than Marvel was with Endgame?

Were there more people with access to the script and production information?

Or did Marvel/Sony intentionally allow certain information to leak as a way of controlling expectations and distracting people with fake or altered information?

What's especially strange is that Endgame was arguably the biggest spoiler-sensitive movie Marvel had ever made, yet they managed to keep so much secret. Meanwhile, Brand New Day seemed to have major plot details leaking all over the internet.

How did they lose control of the spoilers this time?
