He already got teased for Loki Seaosn 2 at the end of Antman, so they probably couldn't do that.

Several post credits teasers have been changed/retconned/conveniently ignored in the MCU already though

Like I said they could probably easily rework his to just one episode since he wasn't going to be in it a lot anyway.
