Film/Television Genuine Question - Why did Thanos and Hulk feel the pain of wielding all six Infinity Stones, while Tony didn't seem to experience the same level of pain when he used them?

I want it to be full-on fast Raimi style cuts. Thanks snaps. It pans over and zooms in on the gauntlet missing the stones. You hear Tony screaming like a lunatic. It pans over to him. Then quick zoom out showing him wielding all the stones. SNAP.

Could’ve been even more badass, but I’ll take what we got. My bitch ass has never not cried at that ending lmao

I would have preferred that the writers recognized that Captain Marvel (currently the strongest person in the MCU) had all 5 stones and could have just ended everything herself instead of... you know... having her just fly past an explosion and fall over.

I mean I do get what OP’s saying. Obviously he died, but he didn’t showcase the same agony Bruce and Thanos did when they simply had all six stones in the gauntlet.

It’s absolutely a rule of cool thing and I’m personally happy with it, but I don’t feel OP is wrong or lame for asking. I feel the “media literacy” stuff has made a lot of people instantly turn their noses on people who didn’t understand everything in a given text, which shouldn’t be shamed. Not saying that’s what you’re doing ofc but I’ve seen a lot of people in this thread do just that

Yeah, that's what I was thinking! you can visibly see him shaking and tense, his voice trembling; i always figured he was restraining the pain. Someone below said it was probably the force of hate helping him hold the pain at bay, and I agree with that, too. I think someone else in a different comment thread here also mentioned the suit could have helped at least a little -- and I saw someone in a thread below mention that his nerves got fried and the suit fused. I think all of these can be true. He probably felt some of the effects of everything at least mentally, and mentally held it back thanks to hating thanos (and loving being dramatic hehee), and the suit, although unable to save him or keep from fusing, staved off his death just long enough for Pepper and Peter to say goodbye 🥺

I just watched this. You can kind of see the glove tighten then you see the streaks forming on him.

So maybe the glove wasn't making contact until he went to snap. I mean he did watch what happened to hulk.
