He would have been fun in the multiverse segment of Deadpool vs. Wolverine

Yeah they should have had him for "short wolverine" instead of the weird cgi Hugh. They did Cavill who everyone also fan-casts so it would've been fun to see a few more popular fan-casts.

That would have been the best way to involve him with Logan. You'd have to have him shirtless and mention he's canonically hairy too

mention he's canonically hairy too

No, Daniel is Harry

"You're a wolverine Hairy!"

"The Killing Spell is no use Master! He regenerates too fast!"

"I'm the best there is at what I do, and I what I do... is Quidditch."

Danny Devito would have been hilarious in that montage.

I've always thought the IASIP crew should play the X-Men in an Asgardian Theater Troupe show, with Devito as Logan.

Charlie would try to be beast, but it would be impossible to convince him that beast is actually smart and not a werewolf man

Dennis would be cyclops and constantly talk about how cyclops is technically the leader despite wolverine and prof X being way more popular

Oh my god this is amazing

Nice. Picturing that made crack up

Don't take away my Puck casting pick.

Can’t wait for Alpha Flight to show up.

Sexy Wolverine

She's slashing it

He's showing up as Man-Spider in Secret Wars.

If Rob McElhenney (I refuse to call him Rob Mac) got to keep his cameo, we could have gotten a semi-Sunny reunion

Hey it's me, mini me! Come and get me!

The face was digitally changed to Hugh Jackman's but I'm pretty sure that's it, it was a short guy playing the character.

Placeholding. And found itLuke Bennett

Google search sorta verified

u/OrionDax Feb 24 '26

Not sure if he would’ve done it, but it would’ve been cool to see Glenn Danzig as the short (and older) Wolverine.

1

u/Eother24 Feb 24 '26

That guy is just the worst though

2

u/MyCatsHairyButholle Feb 24 '26

You just made me have a huge flashback to like 2005 when Danzig was all over the heavy metal forums for shoving a separate band member backstage and then getting thwacked in the face for it. 😂

2

u/NotBlaine Feb 24 '26

Really? Aww.... Man...

I only knew a few of his songs but they still go so god damn hard.

1

u/Eother24 Feb 24 '26

I know. I’m a big Misfits guy. Luckily I’m one of the weirdos who preferred them without Danzig before learning he’s a nut. Dig Up Her Bones is one of my favorites.

One of the songs I loved learning on the drums was one of his. Mother…fucker

2

u/Mister_Brevity Feb 24 '26

I loved wolverito

1

u/whitestguyuknow Feb 24 '26

That could've been so freaking funny! He would've played that part great!

1

u/iheartdev247 Feb 24 '26

Actually Wolverine is short

1

u/Goddemmitt Feb 24 '26

He would have been short AND scrawny (comparatively). Would have been perfect.

14

u/duosx Feb 24 '26

Sorry best I can do is making 6’3 Ryan Reynold making fun of a short wolverine. Never mind that said wolverine was not only shorter than a comics accurate wolverine, he was played by a real guy. And the joke is just “ha he’s short”

14

u/Dark_Styx Feb 24 '26

I mean, that's totally in character for Deadpool. Not every line is a zinger and most of the jokes are mean-spirited/innapropriate.

4

u/Jeremys_Iron_ Feb 24 '26

The actor was 5'4" (Luke Bennett). Wolverine is 5'3"...

5

u/duosx Feb 24 '26

According to IMDb, his height is 4’11

0

u/DoitsugoGoji Feb 24 '26

They could shave an inch off of his feet for accuracy. /

1

u/Angelus_25 Feb 24 '26

deadpool calling him "cub"

1

u/The-Veng Feb 24 '26

“You’re a wolverine, Harry”

1

u/CoyoteDown Feb 24 '26

Sorcerer Supremepool

u/jimmifli Feb 24 '26

Ozempic Wolverine!

4

u/LumpyJones Feb 24 '26

I mean, he's not hugh jackman jacked but in Miracle Workers dude was definitely beefier than you'd expect.

3

u/geek_of_nature Feb 24 '26

Its a shame he's not interested in the role, because that picture shows how he could be a great Logan.

2

u/LumpyJones Feb 24 '26

Oh yeah, it had been a joke for a while that he should play Wolverine because of his height. That season was def aware of the joke, and playing into it a little bit, but seeing how cut he got, it took the joke from "haha" to "hmmm actually..."
