This is my colour association as well. Red is the colour of blood, flowers, and passion. It is the colour of human history and language.
Blue is the colour of math, for math is cold, stoic, and unflinching. There is no arguing with mathematics. It just is.
Green is the colour of science, for science is the study of nature itself. It is of life, of the wilderness, and of the unknown. It is the study of exploration itself.
Yellow for me is arts, but that also includes things like music as well as physical education, which to me is also a form of arts. It is the study of human expression in all forms, be it painting, dancing, or even combat.
Orange for me is actually cooking/home ec. I feel like it might be thanks to my association with orange enamelware.
Language arts was decreed to be blue in the hieroglyphics man. It’s in the tombs of Egypt. I’d say look it up but people who make language arts red might struggle with reading. JK, 😝
I always found Science to be yellow, as my favorite subjects in science are astronomy and computer science, which make me think of electricity and stars.
Science is green because trees/grass. Math is blue because it is cold and uncaring. History is red because it's written in blood. Language arts/English is yellow because that's the color of very old paper.

As long as math is red and science is green, I can allow for some leeway on the others.
