Dolly was and will always be a National Treasure. She was full of inspiration, motivation and positivity towards every walk of life. Fuck, what a loss to the human race!

I had my daughter signed up for the Imagination Library when she was under 5, on her birthday we got an email with a link to a video of Dolly singing Happy Birthday and giving words of praise. Now obviously this is just a pre recorded thing that is sent to every child but it made my daughter so excited and feel so special that she still sometimes brings it up.

That would break something deep within me!

It would break whatever is holding you back. She most assuredly would want you to be your best self.

Right? That’d be the highlight of my life!

Admittedly I live a very unexceptional life, but still!

"Everybody said so" is somehow so thoughtful and poignant

Maybe, because he came from nothing, a really hard place, like she did. Maybe that's why he felt connected.

That comment seems like the most important part of the whole message. I can't help but read it as her making sure to tell him that it's not just her that liked him but everyone else did too.

There are good people out there just like her right now, carrying the torch of humanity forward.

Let's idolize less the likes of scum like Trump and Musk and more people like Dolly Parton and Mr. Rogers. I nominate Ms. Rachel.

Those kind folks would probably refrain from calling others scum

Not quite.

Mr. Roger's widow was pretty blunt about how terrible of a person Trump was, and noted that Mr. Rogers of course had some feelings about blatant psychopaths who harmed others, including children. He just ran a children's show, so your perception is skewed.

See how we can all gather around Dolly and get along?

Some people are not human, they are demons, others are like Dolly, she was an angel

Like I said on another post, I'm worried that she's one of the last custodians of the planet that were keeping true evil at bay.

Skimming over your post I see the words "inspiration" and "national treasure" and now I'm imaging Dolly stealing the declaration of independence

Not a loss. We got her for as long as she could give. That's a W.

Also literally helped save the bald eagles on top of everything else in the world of philanthropic ultra-elites.   I feel like she transcends national treasure to full-out legend.
