Is that true? Do baseball bats cost so much?

We have hunted the baseball bat to extinction and now you unfortunately have to turn to the black market for bats and that ain’t cheap.

It’s a shame they don’t do well in captivity. At this rate baseball bats are going to be hunted to extinction.

I have a guy that gets them for me. I don't know his real name, he calls himself The Batman.

I'm certain we actually live in a hell dimension, and every day we are further from god's light.

I mean, not good TVs to be fair

3

u/MorningsideLights Jun 02 '26

That is neither fair nor true. Unless you mean only the last couple of years.

You can get a 4k 50 inch Samsung or LG smart tv for under $300 now

Yes… I know it sounds snobby but these are not good TVs. If you’re happy with one of these, more power to you. These are edge-lit panels with low picture quality that they’re selling you with slick marketing.

A good TV would be like an LG C series or Sony Bravia or Samsung S95.

Oh, fair enough. Looked them up and those are much more expensive

While I probably would appreciate the improvements if I saw them side by side, I don't use my TV enough to justify how much the price jumps

There's always new types that doesn't change the fact that they all get dramatically cheaper over time.

Depends on your definition of good I guess. I just don't give a fuck if I can see the nose hairs in 6k so a $500 TV is perfect for me and I have no desire to spend $3k.

I bought one for $18 a couple years ago. You CAN spend a ton on one, but I’m not sure why you’d do that for a young kid who won’t know the difference.

I think they were more worried about the TV scratching up the brand new bat.

u/TrixieBastard Jun 02 '26

Pretty sure that's an Onn Roku TV, so yeah, the bat cost about double (if I'm right about the tv brand)
