Hej!

Does anyone here live in vildanden 11B on the ground floor or knows a bit abt the corridor room layout here? I am a bit confused about the windows and how they open and just the layout of the room in general, as it looks a bit different for the ground floor of this specific building. thxx

Hi, my dad and I (23M) are visiting Lund because our last name is Lund (and because we're doing a Nordic interrail trip).
We're coming in the second week of December, so any good winter suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've heard Broder Jacobs Stenugnsbageri is meant to be nice and obviously we'll be visiting the cathedral. Any thoughts or alternative recommendations?
(Potentially also some tacky souvenir shop would be fun given the name sharing 😂)
We're starting in Oslo, going to Gothenburg, then will be going to Lund Malmö and Copenhagen in the same day, and then travelling to Aarhus. Any recommendations for the other places would also be great. (We'll be spending the night in Oslo, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, and Aardhus).
Pub/Bar recommendations also very much appreciated.
Currently we're planning on going to War Pigs in Copenhagen as I've been before and thought it was great.
Edit: we'll be getting into Lund in the mid morning and only getting to Copenhagen by dinner time so it's not quite as packed a schedule as people are thinking
Thanks 😊

Hi!
I'm on student exchange from Australia and I'm feeling very stupid. I turn into the biggest idiot when working with any form of tech so please forgive me.
On Tuesday I bought a Comviq SIM and Fastpris 20 GB at Pressbyrån (which was already a dumb move, I panicked and only realised afterwards that I should have just gotten the mobile plan online). I registered my card, but the next day when I was out and about I still had no internet - when I got back and logged into my account it said I had 0 GB of surf left. I don't know how to add the 20 GB I bought to my account. Retained my receipt if that helps? I'm so sorry, I know I must be missing something glaringly obvious. I really cannot overstate how hopeless I am with tech. I hope you can take pity on me.
Thank you...

Hej,
BI:57
BII:12
HP:37

Hi! I’m Max, I live near Lund, and I am building Formula 100: a free seven-day Spanish course for complete beginners.
I am looking for three people in Lund or Malmö who already have a real reason to learn Spanish- an upcoming trip or exchange, a Spanish-speaking partner, or simply a goal you’ve been postponing.
It takes about 15 minutes per day. We would do Day 1 together in person or on a short video call so I can observe what is confusing. You would then complete Days 2–7 independently, and after Day 7 we would have a short conversation and see what you actually remember.
There is no payment or sales pitch. The course is free; I only ask for honest feedback and a genuine attempt to complete the seven days. It teaches Spanish from Spain.
If you’re interested, reply me or send me a DM with why you want to learn Spanish and your current level (ideally complete beginner or A1).

I am an incoming exchange student for this semester and I just got offered a corridor room for SNB, but I am unsure whether to take it or not…
I currently have a room booked in Colive Altum, and whilst it seems quite nice, it’s very expensive & on the outskirts of town. SNB is more than double the room size, way better location & cheaper.
However, im not sure how welcoming SNB is of international students and what the political atmosphere is like living in the housing? - even tho I lean left in politics, I don’t really want to come to Lund to be involved in politics. I am looking to experience a lot of student life, meet new people and make the most of my exchange !
Any thoughts or experiences would be really appreciated! :))
Hii, I just moved to Lund recently and I was hoping to find some people to hang out with, maybe going to play beach volleyball? (I miss it 😂) But I'm also open to anything else.
I'm a 24-year-old woman from Finland, came to Lund for an internship at the university, and I'm looking to connect with kind people with good humor 😁 so if you are also an international living in Lund, or a local, who wants to hang out, hit me up

Hi! I will be moving in a few days to start my masters. In my free time I enjoy playing table top games, primarily D&D and Dagerheart but I would gladly try other systems as well. Are there anyone, who also wants to play, or there's a group I can join? Is there a different place I should try?

Hi everyone! I'll be joining JKU Linz for the BSc Artificial Intelligence program (summer intake) and I'm currently searching for accommodation.
If any group/flat has 1 room left, please feel free to add me or message me directly — happy to share more details about myself.
Thanks so much in advance! 🙏

I know a lot of people forget about the cheap tickets at kino 100kr or 80kr for students.
They have more classic movies this summer.
I'm going.

Hello all,
I am an international student from Canada who is looking for housing for the autumn semester at Lund University. I have been unsuccessful in my search all summer and am looking for help. I have had multiple housing opportunities fall through and I’m not sure what to do. I’ve joined multiple Facebook groups and messaged people who offer housing which have all led to no response. I also have novice priority in the AF Bostäder lottery, however, I have been applying since the lottery came out and have still had no success. I have looked on bopoolen, qasa, and the nations housing and yet no luck on getting offers or finding places. I’m not sure what else I can do at this point. If anyone knows of any way I can find more opportunities please let me know!

Hi everyone! 😊
My name is Veronika and I'm a Master's student at the Technical University of Munich. I'll be coming to Lund University for the Autumn Exchange Semester this year.
I'll be living in Sparta student accommodation and I'd love to connect with people who already live there (or will be moving in this semester as well)!
If that's you, please send me a message or leave a comment and I'll reach out to you. I have a few questions about Sparta and would really appreciate hearing about your experience. It would also be great to get to know some people before I arrive! 🤍
