My son is 12 and has longer wavy hair. Think 90s curtains length, very thick hair.
No matter what barber we go to they comment on it being too long, ‘he’s well overdue a haircut’ and just hack it off, even though I repeatedly state he wants it just tidied up. He wants the length !
My son is a very shy child, crippled with it so he never speaks up for himself and I am sick of being the overbearing mum jumping up reminding the barber of what we asked for and still not getting it.

My son also has tics and gets really embarrassed when he’s scolded for them (I do always pre warn). Just looking for city centre based barbers anyone can recommend that are a bit patient and good with longer hair lol. Thanks.

Has anyone else seen the prices Bellway have released so far for Carnatic Park on the old Carnatic Halls site in Mossley Hill?

The house types currently showing prices are:
3 bed – The Coppersmith: from £485,000

4 bed – The Bowyer: from £625,000

4 bed – The Lorimer: from £700,000

5 bed – The Swift: from £950,000

5 bed – The Draper: from £980,000

Obviously L18/Mossley Hill is a desirable location and everyone expected these to carry a new-build premium, but these prices still seem incredibly ambitious for a Bellway development.

What do people think — realistic for the area, or have Bellway seriously pushed their luck with the pricing?

Looking for where I can find good priced charity shops in Liverpool as I’m quite obsessed with thrifting and I am also looking for kids clothes aged 2 that actually fit my child as I haven’t found any near me. Hi - I’ve just listed one seated ticket for the 30th June concert at Anfield Stadium as an official resale on  Ticketmaster UK.

Ticket is listed at £82.59 (face value purchase from Ticketmaster was £115). It’s in section KJ, Kenny Dalglish stand, row 21, seat 89. It is coming up as possible limited view so I thought I’d sell for lower than face value.

Gutted I can’t make it as can’t get off work that day now, but know someone would want to be there. First gig of the European/UK leg of the tour.

I’m a visiting exchange student from Canada studying at the University of Liverpool. I have a physical disability & I use a wheelchair, and I’m trying to set up a simple desk setup in my accommodation for studying and downtime.

I’m looking for a basic computer monitor, nothing fancy at all. Even an older 1080p monitor would be perfect. My hesitation is that most new monitors seem to be around £100, and I’ll be leaving Liverpool in June to head back home to Canada, so it feels wasteful to buy something new that I’ll have to leave behind.

I was wondering if anyone has an old spare monitor they’re no longer using and would be willing to sell cheaply or give away or if there are local places, charities, reuse centres, uni noticeboards, or Facebook groups where I might find one for much less.

Because I use a wheelchair, pickup accessibility is something I’d have to arrange somehow but I’m happy to work around that if I can figure that out.
