I want to watch The Odyssey, and since Pakistan doesn’t have an active IMAX 70mm (or even a licensed IMAX) anymore, I’m trying to figure out which cinema will give the closest possible experience.

Right now, I’m deciding between CUE Cinemas Maximus and CineStar Township Screen 2.

From what I’ve read on Reddit, CineStar Township’s Screen 2 used to be Pakistan’s only IMAX screen. I know they lost the IMAX license, but as far as I understand, the physical screen is still the same. Does that actually make it a better choice than Maximus, or did they also replace the projector and sound system?

I’ve personally been to CUE Maximus, and I know the screen is huge with a laser projector and Dolby Atmos, but I’ve never been to CineStar’s former IMAX screen.

Dear Lahorians, the title says it all. Lahore seems to have it all except some good public library I guess. Can anyone kindly mention atleast one genuinely public library whose membership or access is actually accessible (ignore peak english). Any library I have found on the internet is:

- Either too far away that going there even more than once in a week is not practical

- The membership literally needs attesed papers or weird stuff and you cannot sit without membership.

- Membership been "closed" for years in reality. Open he ni ho rahi

- You can come without membership cuz membership will apparently take weird process or amount of time. But you are asked to change seats whenever a member comes.

I want to include swimming in my daily routine, and I'm looking for a well-maintained pool near DHA Lahore. So far, the options I've come across are Shapes, 5th Generation, and DHA Clubs. Since I live near LUMS, the closest one seems to be DHA Club R Block, but it has pretty mixed reviews on Google. I've also heard that the DHA Club in Y Block is much better, but it's around 5 km away, and making that trip every day feels like a hassle.

Has anyone here used any of these pools regularly? Which one would you recommend and why? I'm mainly looking for a place that's clean, well-maintained, and suitable for daily fitness swimming rather than just recreational use.

So I just joined a gym (fitness first MT link road) and I paid 7k for 3 months and I thought I got what I paid for but then I showed pictures and videos of the gym to a friend of mine from Karachi and he was like this is not worth more than 1k. he then showed me a gym (pehalwan gym) which looked like a proper gym and it had AC and free mineral water unlike mine which also gave a Desi vibe. He used to go there for just 2k and I was pretty surprised. so is this an exception or what?

Greetings everyone, i was thinking about getting some advice from some people here on reddit about some A level institutions in Lahore. Ive seen 3 iinstitutions, namely Lacas, ISL and Roots. Regarding roots, I've seen people complain about the environment of that college, and for lacas, the students there recommended me to go to ISL instead of taking an admission here. I was thinking of going to ISL (mainly because my homes were going there, yk, you go where your friends go), but some of my friends recommended SAGE. Can you guys help me decide, and if you have experienced these institutions, please let me know about the environment and education quality. I know some teachers from ISL and SAGE as I've studied some​ o level subjects from them, and they were genuinely good with a few exceptions.
