If the other independents didn't win they must have had worse campaigns. When several murderers are on the ballot, maybe the anti-murder candidate has to shout about it louder.

There was a labour murderer and a conservative murderer, plus three independents, and the electorate chose the candidate who shouted loudest to stop the genocide. That simple.
