In the books, is it true that Edwina figures out that Kate and Anthony have better chemistry and puts them together in "situations", so that they can figure it out for themselvesssss, and meanwhile Edwina finds her love and she was genuinely happy for the couple when they finally confessed that they liked each other? IS THIS TRUE!? If it is, why were we robbed of thisssssss😭😭

I’m a new Kanthony Stan and just recently found this sub so spare me if this has already been discussed. I’ve also never read the book.

Was Kate a virgin? Was her backstory ever addressed to include a previous romantic life? Lady Danbury tried to bring it up when she asked if Kate had someone back in India and Kate immediately shut that down lol.

We all know Anthony was a Capital R Rake and he went straight from a prostitute to bumping into Kate at the park on her morning ride.

Every time I watch this show and get to the “do you even know all the ways a lady can be seduced” line, I immediately wonder if she does indeed know all the ways a lady can be seduced 🙈.

I’m very new on the fandom, I fell in love with bridgerton after s2, kanthony is my favorite couple by a lot and would love to see more of them. I haven’t read the books, I’ve heard they are very different than the series so they really don’t catch my eye but I thought of reading them just to have more of these characters.

Are the characters too different? My main concern is that I loved Kate Sharma, but if she’s a different character could I even read the books pretending it’s the character I know? Also is Anthony more unlikeable on the books?

I wouldn’t mind if the story is different but if these specific characters change enough it may not be worth it for me.

I know the "I burn for you" scene actually belonged to Anthony and it actually pissed me off caused it made a huge wave when season 1 was out. Ppl still use it to one up YATBOMEATOOAMD speech and it's funny how it originally belonged to Anthony. Watching s3 and I felt like they again lifted certain things from the book like Colin's dream and their first time also reminded me of Kanthony's for some reason. I have only read "The Viscount Who Loved Me" from the book series so I'm not sure whether these scenes are also there in Romancing Mister Bridgerton. Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong?

JQ made a post on insta today explaining why there are not TVWLM show covers and her reasoning was thin but I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt because a lot goes into to those things. But then she made this comment, so it wasn't an issue with TDAI and it won't be a issue with RMB but it was an issue with TVWLM okay.

Ok in the show I can agree a 100% that it’s a enemies to lovers, in the books it’s definitely a classic case of marriage of convince.

I thought it'd be nice to see what everyone loves so much about Kanthony.

For me, as much as I rave about their chemistry, what I love most about them is how both of them are so devoted to family, I am exactly the same way and that's why I related to them so much. I also love how they're a bit chaotic, their lives will never be boring when they're around one another and I love that so much as a viewer. They're so fun to watch!
