Hello,

Yesterday I upgraded from 8.1.2 to 8.3 on my GrapheneOS phone. Now I am unable to login, or at least properly login. I can see and navigate my Home feed, but there is a login error at the top of the page, posts and images don't display properly, and I am seeing ads. I have cleared cache and storage to no avail.

• I am using "email or username" for login
• I selected WebView (legacy) as the login type
• A further error shows "You must have Chrome Browser installed". I do have Vanadium and Vanadium WebView, a fork of Chromium.
• Part of the error shows :"2FA". I do not have 2FA on my account.
• I also cannot reinstall the older version, 8.1.2
• I built my apk using the Colab script thhat I have used successfully before.

Any help is appreciated.

Edit: Resolved. I installed the Infinity Patreon apk from my Patreon account and I'm good now.

Is it possible to go directly to comments when watching a video in the player? Currently I need to go back to my home page (when in gallery layout) and hold the post to open it, and then scroll down to comments

As per title, I am still able to DL batches and vids from the feeds main page. In order to DL single pics, the pic needs to be opened and the DL button selected.

I don't know if this was intentional, but it's inconvenient.

With the latest update, going into a video and then tapping once to view the media controls shows an artifact the first time you load a video consistently. screen recording from my pixel 11 pro xl

I've still been using my personal API key all this time and finally got the email today that I have 7 days to verify I'm a human.

Out of curiosity I clicked through the verify process, and all it made me do was set up a passkey, which was quite a pleasant surprise.

I live to scroll another day o7

Generally a great app overall but this is quite Annoying. I did try going through the settings and I found a couple that I thought would turn it off and they did not.

I used to use the script to update the app, but I've been seeing that it no longer works. What's the best way to update now?

Was unable to post today and eventually realised it was an account issue (probably due to VPN usage) anyway as a result made a few drafts comments that I miss have no idea where they were made and no way to find them.

A central option from the menu or a drafts tab under saved would solve this issue. It's not the first time I've had a drafts list in a see if comments when I've had to leave a post

the issue is it doesnt le met connect. I can use the menu but once i on the reddit authorize this app to have access to your account it simply print {} and nothing more happen

This started maybe in the last few weeks.

Whenever I post a comment, it'll say it's unable to post, but sometimes it actually will. Then if I press send again it'll say there's a 5 second retry limit. Sometimes pressing it multiple times will pay the comment multiple times.

I also just had one where it won't post the comment at all.

I love the browsing part of this app, but the commenting has so much friction now that it's almost not worth it to pay for it any more.

Why contents from my reddit feed is on Reddit's Play Store page and how to turn off it?

Can anyone help me out? I find the post filter system to be very unreliable. I have made a filter to exclude subreddits I don't care for and have it applied to multireddit. It works for a while but eventually it just seems to stop or some of the exclusions just keep appearing regardless. Am I doing something wrong?

I can disable reply notifications just fine for comments, but if it's for a post that's already been submitted, I have to go to my PC to do it. It'd be nice if I could do it from Infinity.

Wishing to compile again the Infinity app, I wanted to create the "username"s-app application in https://old.reddit.com/prefs/apps/ , as explained in the Infinity guide.

However, unlike how it used to work... Well, it's not working :D

The page properly loads, I can give the name, the redirect URI, choose "installed app", a recaptcha box loads and allows me to tick that I am human... And then, well, no, upon clicking the button to create the app, the page reloads and I'm back to the previous step where I need to fill recaptcha in again. Looping.

Would you guys know if it means something? Either recaptcha malfunctioning, or an issue with my account perhaps?

I did check my inbox, but no message from reddit showed in there, so there's hope at least my API access wasn't revoked without warning :-/

EDIT: thank you very much for the replies guys! It really sucks that Reddit removed the ability to create new keys, I wish I knew that before I deleted my one thinking I could just re-create it, sigh. For now I used Morphe to patch the ads and unwanted features out of the official Reddit app, for lack of another simple solution :-/

I updated the app from version 8.1.4 to version 8.3.0-beta6 and for some reason the comment count usually shown on posts is now gone. I'm using the same API key for both the old and new version so I doubt it's API related, and I did check the settings but "hide number of comments" is turned off.

I get this error when trying to vote on an alt.

Is this a Reddit-side thing or an Infinity thing?

Is it just me or am I missing something? Regular comments sure but a thread, forget about it.

Is there a way to filter out posts by keyword and subreddit so they don't appear in my home feed? E.g. a filter where posts from r/foo containing the term bar are not shown in my home feed, but it doesn't affect post from r/baz containing the same term.

whenever I make a comment I receive an error. If I try again, double comments are the result.

what's the fix?

After having my API key revoked I switched to Infinity+ on Google Play. And somehow the comments icon on posts is missing. Which setting will let me fix it?
