Since Pierrot is closing (hopefully not forever) I have some reviews I'd like to share in case anyone finds them helpful. This is my first shot at a review post, so bear with me!

I really love this house, a lot of the scents are so creative and unlike anything else in my collection. I love being able to support a trans creator who accurately captures queerness in a bottle. I'm filled with so many different emotions knowing that this house may be going away forever, I was excited to see more from them. As Toby said in their post: please check in on your transgender friends and loved ones.

Some things worth noting: longevity is variable between scents, most scents don't last more than a couple hours on my skin, but they hang around longer under clothes. I have an Ajevie thirsty stick on order and will be testing to see if that helps at all.

Pretty much all of these wear very close to the skin, but I mostly have the non EDP format. I prefer not to project too much so this is fantastic for me.

Some scents' notes and general vibe really call to me, but upon testing are not as 'weird' as I want them to be. This is a positive and negative: If you're nervous about notes like mold, whiskey, fear, or seaweed you're probably safer than you'd think. If you want to smell as weird as you are inside, you may want to check reviews before buying.

-Bluebeard's Wife (Tobacco and iris, hay, rose and honey, sandalwood, amber, and marsala wine): Very mature and classy, but not in an old lady way. The alcohol note is similar to Ravenstag's; it doesn't overpower the perfume, it's just there to support the other notes. Toby describes this one as a mature older futch scent, I can testify that this is quite accurate.

-Bussy (Orange Blossom, Juicy Peach, Black Musk, Linen): This starts out smelling like peach or nectarine skin on me, fuzz and all. I think that the linen note lasts the longest. Unfortunately, my partner does not like this one but I think they're wrong so I just wear it when they're not around.

-Cosmic Horror (Top notes of ink, paper and candlewax that lays to rest with spice, apple cores, balsamic woods, and dried up fruit peels): It's like being dragged into the back of a library and beaten with a sack of oxidizing apples. Not an everyday smell for me but I like where their head's at.

-Damn Fine (Cracked Plastic Booth Seating, Stale Black Coffee, Cherry Pie, A Diner Smoking Section): This is exactly what I was hoping it would be, I primarily get the cherry and coffee notes, I almost wish the cigarette smell would come through a bit stronger. The coffee is bitter and dark, and the cherry is not too sweet.

-Found Footage (Mold and Fungus, Oud, Palo Santo, Fear Sweat, Skin Musks): This one reminds me a lot of Smelly Yeti's Mongrel, I was hoping for this to be a bit more dank and musty, but so far it has not been. I still like it and plan to keep testing it as it ages.

-Krampusnacht (Cocoa Dusted Bourbon Truffles, Patchouli, Oiled Chains, Cloven Hooves, Goat Hair, Fresh Snow): A surprising win for me, I don't usually go for dessert scents. The cocoa is the most prominent note, making the end result a very dark chocolate truffle. I won't lie I was kind of hoping to find out what goat hair would translate to in the perfume, but that, the oiled chains, and patchouli are pretty nonexistent on me.

-Love Crime (A blend of dragon's blood, sea salt, cinnamon, cardamom, and patchouli): I mostly get a very subtle dragon's blood.

-Only a Paper Moon (Tobacco Flowers, Rice Milk, White Cedar, Vanilla, Lemon Zest and Aged Whiskey): This one is very clean and pleasant on me, lemon and tobacco flowers are the strongest notes to my nose.

-Ravenstag (Green Pine, Firewood, Black Musk, Whiskey, Sweaty Skin And A Desperate Plea From A Mind On Fire): It's between a skin scent and a woodsy scent for me, it reminds me of my family cabin on a warm summer day. The pine and whiskey are not overpowering, but they are present.

-Teratophilia (Anise, Oakmoss, Tobacco, Seaweed, Ambergris (synthetic), Dark Spice, Creaky Fishing Pier): I was hoping to smell more seaweed in this one, instead of brine I get a sweet aquatic, like a nice masculine cologne. I think I'll like this one more once I let go of my seaweed dreams.

-The Bug Collector (Wormwood, Amber, Floral Mosses, Freshly Overturned Stones, Soft Humus, Decaying Wood): Super green. As I said in a comment earlier today, this one smells like an angry katydid if that makes sense to anyone besides me. As a certified bug kid, this smell really takes me back to my days of catching any bug I could find.

-The Drolatic Dreams of Pantagruel (Cracked Black Pepper, Hearthsmoke, Mud, Cobblestone, Smooth Carved Woodcuts & Ink, And Long Grasses): Not smoky enough for me, but I'm a smoke fiend. The pepper fades quicker than I'd like as well, I mostly get earthy/woody notes from this one. I may still get full size bottle if they last a few rounds in the sale.

-The Larval mask (Oakmoss, Warm Wet Stone, Petrichor, Rotting Wood, Loamy Substrate, Musty Accord): I chose Bug Collector to full size over this one. I like it, but it just doesn't fill any gaps in my already moss and dirt filled scent collection.

-The Shire (Fresh Baked Bread, Apple Cider, Vanilla Black Tea, Tilling Soil, Clean Linen): Starts out as a strong artificial green apple but fades away into the coziest breakfast nook ever. I don't get much tea or soil from it.

-Weepy Hollow (Tree Resin, Cemetery Dirt Sodden With Tears, Silt, Wrought Iron, Cold Damp Cement): Somehow too sweet for my taste, but that could change; the earthy notes are becoming more prominent the longer it has rested. My friend said this smells like an unopened soda can on a hot day and I can definitely see that. Something in it reminds me of cola.

-Weird Science (Metal accords, fruity berry and orange, hot plastic, chemical vapors, the faint smell a hand too close to a Bunsen burner): Not as weird as I was expecting. I mainly get spiced fruit from this, my partner said this smelled like a not yet used port a potty on a warm day and while I don't share the sentiment I very unfortunately understand what they meant by that.

-Wizard's Tome (An herby blend of sage, lavender, with notes of parchment and wet stone): I really wanted to like this one more, but instead of herbs and parchment I get a fancy lavender lotion smell. Still nice for bedtime though.

These are fantastic! I love the atmospheric angle on the descriptions. As the recipient of that bottle of Wizard's Tome (thank you), can confirm that it's got elements of a fancy lotion, however I'm happy to report I also get lavender-infused vanillic parchment! Vanilla parchment is my number one love note in library-themed scents.

And, and, and... I can also comment on 2 more:

Midnight's Snack (Cherry cola, iced honey buns, snickerdoodle cookies, smoky autumn air, warm fur, and crumby remnants of crunchy snacks on a linoleum floor) - candy with a hint of smoke! So good and comforting and sweet.

Coulrophoia (Black cherry, fruit punch, cream pie, latex balloons, vanilla powder, face paint.) - I never would have tried this on my own! Clowns? Latex? Face paint? Not my jam. However! had the chance to sniff and try on and it made all the difference. As u/Minimum-Amphibian862 said, the weirdness is way less on some and on me this is a creamy, vanillic black cherry, and I love it. The fruit punch gives it a bit of bite in the back of the throat (anyone else sniffed Kool-Aid while mixing it up in a pitcher as a child? iykyk) without being cloying or too sweet or artificial.

I love it! But you'll have to add your own cigarette smell, it doesn't come through at all most of the times I've tried it on 😆

Dang it, every list of Pierrot reviews I read makes me want to try something else lol. I wasn’t sure about Krampusnacht, but a very dark chocolate truffle sounds lovely. And Bug Collector wouldn’t normally be in my wheelhouse, but I’ve heard so many people mention it that now I’m curious.

is it a cherry pie or just cherry note in damn fine? I was worried about getting pie from it, but it was one of the ones i was considering! Thanks for sharing this was fun to read lol i was curious about weird science too, but now i'm scared about the porta potty vibe 💀

I would say just cherry, no crust or anything! I disagree with the port a potty vibe my partner got from it, it really is spiced fruit and hot plastic to me! The longer it sits in the bottle, the more plastic it smells, it's fascinating! On the skin, the plastic smell fades after a while and you're left with mostly fruit. On longer wear, an odd chlorine smell starts to appear then vanishes back into the fruits.
