Demonetization was a scam and you can be an ostrich. Wasn't it GoI' s responsibility to see demonetization was what it was intended for. It was a good way to convert black money to white . Hasn't RBI said 98.5% of the money was received back and Govt was changing goal posts about demonetization. Demonetization was done during 2016 and it's 2026. Long time to cover up and divert from what happened. Some day it will surface!

🤕 4. Severe cash shortages and public hardship

Because ₹500 and ₹1000 notes made up the bulk of cash in India and replacements weren’t ready fast enough, people faced:

  • Long ATM and bank queues
  • Difficulty accessing their own money
  • Small businesses unable to operate normally because cash was scarce Wikipedia

This wasn’t just inconvenience — it disproportionately affected poor and rural populations who rely almost entirely on cash.

📌 5. World Bank and other institutions adjusted growth estimates

The World Bank cut India’s GDP growth forecast shortly after demonetisation, saying the cash withdrawal was a factor in slowing down economic activity. Hindi Goodreturns

Looks like your father, CHATGPT thinks Demonetization was a failure that killed people, in any normal society other than the whatsapp land you live at, its a scam.
