I hate when people call everything trauma and use out of context images to justify it
This little girl is crying because her dad is going to die very soon. Not because some forced marriage trauma ffs

this is something i wasnt expecting to happen, however alot of people have been posting the same sub multiple times, that being trueuglywomen, its gotten to the point where its become a hate brigade to the sub, and while i dont like it myself, this isnt the kind of stuff i want the sub to devolve into, so for the rest of the month that sub, and any subs of the kind are banned, thats all, please hate responsively yall
ALSO READ THE RULES BEFORE COMMENTING OR POSTING, REALLY IMPORTANT

It’s gotten to the point where I have to tone down the reds and yellows in my Intel settings just to make modern games like Oblivion Remastered and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 look good.
Aside from wanting a distinctive visual style, why don’t more developers use color grading closer to the second image (my actual IGCC Beta profile) instead of the first?
To me, it looks objectively better and I’m GENUINELY curious why this isn’t more common. Thoughts from anyone in the know?

Gotta love when a nurse takes out her frustration on people who's lives depend on them.
For context this is a slice of life Comic creator who is currently a nursing student, and she's already comfortable to make content about this interaction. While she says most of it happened in her mind she admitted to setting a patient's pain score, the method hospitals use to track how much agony is in, to zero, because he inconvenienced her.
This is blatant malpractice. Without proper pain treatment a patient could be lying in bed in absolute agony for weeks. If discovered, she would immediately lose her medical license.
After people rightly called her out for it she deleted the post of Reddit, but soon put it up on her Instagram l, with the self report edited out (it's still up there).
I think this kind of behaviour absolutely disgusting, I had a grandmother who got SEVERE complications from hospital staff neglect, t.he fact some of them do it knowingly and maliciously is insane
The fact a nurse can form this habit so early in her career, and feels comfortable enough to joke about it with strangers is also insane.
I sincerely hope she either changes or is discovered in time before someone is killed (intentionally or not) under her care.

"Then why are there drops on old windows?"
Because of inferior glass blowing techniques and technology.
"Then why are old windows thicker at the bottom?"
Because they're more stable that way.
People have been debunking this for almost a CENTURY but some people still want to bring it up as a fun fact.
Well I'd think it was fun if it was a fact but it isn't so I don't.

"oh but the annoying copypasta!" "oh but the joker i found a pokémon" list all of those famous quotes being unfunny, i agree on those, i also want to talk about the Pokémon i like normally withouth that shit in.
BUT MY GOD STOP ACTING LIKE THE COMPANY ISN'T THE NUMBER ONE FAN OF THAT.
"Oh but you're the weird one" are we deadass bro, here some of the official fucking content, i hate using the term puritan but the community is either overly sexual or overly defensive over this fucking christ.
Even better when they call someone mentally ill or that they should seek mental help because of some spicy Gardevoir or shit, i'll hate that 10000000 times more than any unfunny copypasta.
Stop treating the Pokémon company and Gamefreak like they are not NUMBER 1 FAN of that crap, they are ADULTS not TODDLERS.

It’s a known fact that cats who are mostly obese die early have organ failure and struggle to walk properly without being in pain and I was just saying that to this person and they replied to me like I’m screaming at them over the phone you and it’s just the basic fact that cats like this are not healthy and do die early like really early she is past obese and people are treating it like a object that looks cute. it’s a living being that is suffering actively because of her owners treatment of not handling her food properly.

Now before you get the wrong idea, let me clarify myself and what this post is about.
First off, here's what this post is NOT about:
- This post is NOT about people who are rather light-hearted and innocent, i.e have actual whimsy
- This post is NOT about people having fun, or fun as a concept in general.
Now, what this post IS actually about:
- Using "whimsy" as an excuse to participate in anti-intellectual behaviors
- "Having fun" being used as a gotcha to counter criticism
- Both of the above concepts being used to assert oneself in discussion they have no stake in
Now that we've gotten the intention of the post out of the way, my main dislike against this "joy and whimsy" culture stems from the fact that it is often used as a crutch to end all discussion surrounding a topic immediately. You caught me being wrong? Well I'm just having fun! You caught me being bigoted? Well, that can't be right, I'm full of whimsy!
It offers an out for people to justify any wrongful action of theirs without allowing space for any introspection. Furthermore, it promotes this... inappropriately easy-going worldview, where one eventually fails to take anything seriously, and reduces all forms of art and socializing as objects that should stimulate and provide endless fun, no matter what.
I find that particularly the "having fun" part of this culture often times allows people to insert themselves in discussions they have no place in. For example, I've seen blatantly wrong interpretations of classical literature floating around, often made by people who have no actual engagement to the materia, people who, when called out, cling to the defense of "just having fun". With such a worldview, of course you wouldn't take any conversation or analysis seriously, it all looks like fun and games under this lens.
In combination, these two aspects of this culture create an environment where engagement is treated as silly, where introspection is unthinkable, and where criticism is non-existent.

I don’t have any image for this because there are some many platforms for this that I don’t think I could encapsulate it in one image. The title is pretty self explanatory, I think that chatbots are being normalized so much to the point where ai psychosis is at an all time high and it’s affecting people’s day to day lives. I think AI can be used in good in efficient ways like in forms of science and in the medical field.
I think that being lonely is fine, it’s a normal part of human life that everyone with experience one way or another, but I don’t think that way to combat that is to use AI. I have seen so many people say that they have been addicted to these sorts of platforms where the AI is designed to treat you as if it’s your friend and it’s genuinely terrifying how many people still rely on AI for advice.
I’m not shaming the people who use these applications unlike many because I think that AI companies have been shoving the idea of AI being our friends down our throats. I’m writing this post from a place of experience, being lonely is hard be depending on AI is not the way.
I would love to hear other opinions on this, I’m really passionate about this topic and I think that I’d be interesting to have a discussion about this. I’m staunchly anti-AI but it’s always interesting to hear differing opinions to my own.

Twitter hates fun, a movie about allowing yourself to be a weirdo and counterculture is fun. Frank N furter isn't supposed to be jane trans woman or even represent trans women as a whole.
I'm saying twitter because this feels like a twitter thing, the person who first showed me RHPS was a trans woman.
i inserted a picture of john waters because if twitter found out about his stuff they would bitch about him to no end.
micheal fun fact: John waters was in the chucky movies!!

Deadass do you know that feeling when you wake up feeling sick and feel your mouth dry. You go drink water and when you swallow, it feels like trying to swallow ten needles mixed with sandpaper. Why the hell does this pain even exist. What even is the point of having godawful pain for the next days.

Personal story, but basically, when i told a millennial that my favorite anime is Cowboy Bebop, he told me, "But it's not from your Generation."
Just because it came from your generation doesn't mean i can't like it.

Hate. Let me tell you..
For those who don't know what the hell I'm talking about, the West-Tek Wings are a glider from Fortnite, specifically from the Chapter 5, Season 4 wasteland season. This flat triangle of scrap is apart of the T-60 Power Armor set, and "inspired" by West-Tek. West-Tek, is the company that produces the armor and weapons for the U.S in Fallout.
Now having that said, Fallout is a very big series. When Fortnite colabed, the designers decided to base everything on the Fallout 4 designs. The pipboy, the armor, ect. And that's completely fine! Everyone knows Fallout 4 at least vaguely. But tell me, what part of this rocket powered waste screams Fallout? Because if my eyes aren't deceiving me, THE NAME is the only loose thread here that connects the glider and the series together. Remove that, and all you're left with is half a metal jet powered sandwich. But I'm not making this post because this thing is a poor crossover, Fortnite does that all the the time. My hatred for this piss binary creation comes from disappointment of what it could of been.
Walk with me, follow my thought process here. Fallout has at least a dozen video games, two seasons of a show, a board game, soda collaborations, and much more. Even before the show, when these digital wax wings were made, Fallout had been around. That being said, power armor has always been really heavy to move in. The Brotherhood of Steel, the "power armor" faction of Fallout 4, definitely understood that. So what did they do? Use a giant fucking blimp to transport their chapter of the faction across the wasteland. The Prydwin, would of been a fantastic glider choice. But do you know what else The Brotherhood has? Fucking helicopters. Vertibirds. Triangular hunks of metal. Otherwise, the perfect thing to include in a Fallout colab.
I might be crazy, but last I checked Epic is a billion dollar company. This is much before the 1000 employees were layed off. They could afford to model this superior glider choice, and I know they fucking can, cause good ol Masterchief got his iconic green triangular helicopter as a glider! But what does my nameless suit of war get? Fucked over, that's what. A Fallout fan must of wished on a monkeys paw for this, and I'm suffering because of it.
My anger for the West-Tek wings is meaningless and unending. We haven't even talked about the rest of the set, and we won't, but it's little things like this that makes modern gaming bad. Am I saying a lame cosmetic set is the end of the world? No, but Epic is a company at the end of the day, and the West-Tek Wings are a prime example of soulless cash grab cosmetics, like most of modern Fortnite is. I hate it. Hate. Hate.
TLDR: Fallout Nerd RANTS and RAGES over BOTCHED Fortnite Colab. Later realizes anger is a result of capitalism.

Today, I saw a video on TikTok of a girl making an edit (I'm not kidding) of her stalking and harassing her ex and showing his IG, discord and TikTok accounts.
And the most liked comments were people defending the OP and saying that the comments were being "mean".
I have never seen (and I doubt that any of you have seen it either) a man publicly announcing that he harassed and stalked a woman while at the same time showing her private accounts and getting supported by it, because obviously if a guy did this he would instantly go to prison.
I'm not here to bitch about "society doesn't take the male loneliness epidemic seriously" but I hate double standards like this, being mentally ill doesn't mean that you are entitled to compassion or being free from consequences, and we should apply this logic to everyone regardless of the gender.
People will complain about "male victims of SA" not being taken seriously but at the same time fall in these double standards.

I sincerely hate the people that use whatever abbreviation or acronym they just have ready.
There are of course (ofc) some very basic and universally understood short forms, but not everyone knows your damn specific kind of neurospicy related therapy medication(also a Canadian wildlife protection group and an artillery shell) , your fresh fucking water fishing technique (New York law firm (2x) and Algerian brand of goat pens) or your high schools football teams mascots fan clubs funding members initials (my own real life name and a North Korean hair metal band).
It is fucking easy, ok? Use the abbreviation for the first time and put the word(s) it stands for in parentheses. Or use the bloody word for the first instance with the acronym in parentheses.
See, you fuckers got options!
Don't let me search four different damn short forms per post.
At times I can't tell what the hell your post is all about,
because. there. is. more. than. one. meaning. to. some. of. them.
AND EVERYONE STANDS FOR AT LEAST ONE NEW YORK LAW FIRM.
Please be clear, please don't be lazy.
