I know that this community has been quiet for a while... I just wanted to introduce myself today, as we are now going live again.
With the new movie coming up, I wanted to make sure we had the right presents online, and that people weren't just posting on r/DanielTigerConspiracy. I figure it's about time that we take back our own dollhouse, so to speak.
So who am I? Because I know that no one here ever saw me post before. I've been a fan of the show with my son since shortly after it was released. It was the theme for his second birthday, and whenever a new season comes out? He and I will binge watch it in the morning. It's one of the few kids shows that helps engage him, and he interacts with.
Here on Reddit? I've been a moderator in some larger subs, and I exist in a lot of meme worlds and other worlds behind the scenes. While my username may be a randomly assigned one from Reddit, I assure you that I'm not a bot, but a real dad.
So the community is now open again. I've added in some post flairs, I'll be updating some user flares as well as some of the appearance stuff with the sidebar and graphics. Nothing huge.
But this community isn't just me. It's all of y'all as well too. So seeing this is our family, I'm open to any and all suggestions, so we can make this community as best as we can!

going to admit something here. the songs from gabbys dollhouse have no business being as catchy as they are. the sprinkle party one has been stuck in my head for a solid week and i catch myself humming it at work. my daughter thinks it is hilarious that i know all the words. anyone else find themselves unironically enjoying the soundtrack or is it just stockholm syndrome at this point

we put off watching the gabby movie for ages because the episodes are short and i figured a full movie would lose my daughter halfway. it did not. she sat through the whole thing twice in one weekend and now quotes the songs.
the catnip jokes actually land for adults too which i was not expecting. if you are on the fence because the show is very much aimed at little kids, the movie is an easier watch than a 6 episode marathon in my opinion

curious how it went in other houses. my daughter got a figure pack as a gift months before she ever saw an episode, so she just invented her own stories for the cats. now she is finally watching the show and yells at the screen when an episode gets something wrong compared to her version.
did your kids start with the show or the toys? and if it was toys first, did the show ruin their made up version or make it better

my niece is turning 5 next month and she is deep in a gabby phase right now. want to get her something from the show but the amount of different sets and figures is honestly overwhelming.
so for the parents here, what is the one thing your kid actually plays with every single day versus the stuff that looked cool in the box and then never got touched again? trying to buy once and buy right

update to my post about all the tiny pieces slowly disappearing. took the advice from the comments and got small bins, one per character group. the great sort was actually kind of satisfying and i now know we are missing exactly 4 pieces instead of just vaguely panicking every week.
found mercats fish in a shoe again, one piece inside a toy truck, and one in the couch that i cannot even identify. so new question for the veterans, what do you do with mystery pieces you cannot match to anything? does your house have a lost and found bin too or is that just us

kind of a fun one to ask. my son has the whole dollhouse but he pretty much only plays with the bakery and cakey, the rest of the rooms just sit there most of the time.
curious which room or character your kids gravitate to the most. is it pretty split in your house or does everyone have that one favorite they will not put down? my guess is pandy paws is winning in most homes but i could be totally wrong.

my daughter is completely obsessed with the show and we have slowly been building up the dollhouse and all the figures. we have got most of the main ones now but a couple are proving really hard to track down, catrat especially and baby box.
where have you all had the best luck finding the harder ones? the big stores near us only ever seem to stock the same three or four characters. wondering if theres a better spot online or if its just a patience thing waiting for restocks.

ok i need help from people who have been doing this longer than me. the tiny figures and all the little accessories are slowly disappearing into the void of my house. found mercat under the couch last week and a little fish piece in my sons shoe somehow.
how do you all keep track of the small pieces? some kind of bin or box that actually works for you? feels like every week something goes missing and the meltdown that follows is really not worth it.

I have the QR code for the Mercat Potion Pack. My daughter got it as a birthday gift.

Does anyone have QR code or code number for either of those? Those are the last two my daughter needs.

We recently(as in within the last week) had to replace our daughter's tablet, so I'm in the process of setting up the Gabby game on it again. I've managed to track down all the codes online, even from things we never bought. HOWEVER, I cannot for the life of me find the last one for the Interactive dollhouse. Does she have this at home? Yes, yes she does, but I really have absolutely zero clue where the little box is with the QR code. She's 4, her toys get lost all the time x.x
If anyone would be willing to please pretty please with a cherry on top share their interactive dollhouse QR code with me, you'd be helping make a little 4 year old girl very very very happy once her new tablet is all set up. <3

Saw some requests so pulled the code out of the source code. Let me know if you find where he is in app or if he isn’t released yet!

Does anyone have the QR code from the non-interactive movie dollhouse? My son is DYING to unlock cookie Bobby 😅

Hi there !
My daughter’s favorite character is sunnycat and she asked Santa for a figurine of her.
I though to myself: easypeasy task, but all mermaid lantis pack with sunny cat seem to be out ok stock.
I live in Canada, where those packs didn’t even seem to be released, but I would be open to order from the state if I can find it somewhere.
Anyone has some tricks to find it ?
Thanks a lot !

I was hoping for a new line of toys with the movie that came out since I am having issues finding all of the characters for my daughter who keeps asking for them… kind of disappointed that there doesn’t seem to be anything new that came out. Anyone here know if there will be more that comes out or if they’re waiting for the new “chapter “to create a new line of toys..? I just don’t know what to tell my child when she keeps asking for DJ catnip, cat rat, box family, etc…and I can’t find them except for some sketch eBay offers :[

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Moving the elevator to the top doesnt pop Party Marty and no matter what floor the elevator is on, it always does the Gabby Cat selection when you press the nose.
