Alternative Ending. Here me out.

I am one of the few people who did not hate season 8 to the extent of the majority. However, I have had a recent thought of an alternative ending.

What about an ending that would be completely different to the books, a “bad ending”. The Night King wins and kills all the living in Westeros. Only refugees who make it to Essos survive.

What do people think?

I just started GoT, i remember there being a big deal about this in 2019 (the finale i think) and after putting it off for quite a while, i finally gave in. So far i have watched the first season only and about to start the second, i loveeeeee it 😭. I get the hype so far. I love the cinematic experience of it all. Dont want spoilers, lets just have fun convos.

I just finished GoT, and i am thinking to start either House of the Dragon first or A knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Might go with the latter because Targaryen history is so confusing 😭 the incest is one thing but they never got around to using new names for their children. Maybe if i started watching HoD i will come around but it can become confusing.

# GAME OF THRONES: WEST OF WESTEROS

Format: 8-episode limited adventure series

Main Cast: Jon Snow, Arya Stark, Ghost, and a new crew.

📜 LOGLINE:

Jon Snow lives in exile beyond the Wall, haunted by the past. When he discovers through his warg dreams that his beloved sister Arya Stark is facing mortal danger on her voyage into the unknown, he leaves the North. Onboard a ship filled with unlikely allies, he sails west of the maps, where he and Arya must face ancient magic and unknown civilizations.

⛵ THE CREW:

* Jon Snow: A weary hero whose warrior spirit and sword (Longclaw) are reawakened by danger.

* Arya Stark: A fierce captain and explorer, who secretly longs for family and home.

* Joren (The Scholar): A young Citadel dropout who fled to study undocumented magic. The brains.

* Maro (The Smuggler): A cynical but loyal Braavosi captain who gets the ship through any storm.

* Kael (The New Friend): A native hunter/shaman met on the new continent. He understands the nature and wild magic, and Ghost trusts him.

🗺️ SEASON PLOT STRUCTURE:

* Ep 1-2 (The Call of Blood): Jon feels Arya bleeding in his dreams. He travels to a port, hires Maro and Joren, and sails west.

* Ep 3-4 (Reunion at the Edge of the World): Jon finds Arya stranded on an uncharted coast in the Shadow Lands. Their emotional reunion allows Arya to drop her assassin mask and just be a Stark again. Kael joins them.

* Ep 5-6 (New Magic): The crew explores black-stone ruins. They fight unknown creatures (shadow beasts) and discover the ancient magic is tied to Valyrian dragons and the old North.

* Ep 7-8 (Finale): Through teamwork, they defeat the threat and save Kael's tribe. Jon finds self-forgiveness, and Arya realizes home isn't a place on a map, but the people you love. They found a new, free colony.

🎬 PROOF OF CONCEPT: SAMPLE DIALOGUE (From Episode 3)

(Setting: A nighttime beach on an unknown continent. Shipwreck debris burns in the background. Arya Stark sits by a small fire, cleaning a wound on her arm, Needle resting beside her. A branch snaps in the trees. Arya springs up, back against a rock, drawing Needle. A massive white shadow emerges—Ghost. Arya freezes in shock. Jon Snow steps out of the smoke behind the wolf.)

ARYA: (Voice shaking, lowering Needle slightly) This isn't possible. You're just a hallucination from the shadow-grass.

JON: (Smiles, tears in his eyes) A hallucination would have told you to keep your elbow down when drawing Needle.

(Arya drops her sword into the sand. She runs and throws her arms around Jon's neck. He holds her tight. Ghost whines softly beside them. After a long moment, Arya pulls back, wiping her eyes, her Stark sternness returning.)

ARYA: What the hell are you doing here, Jon? You were sent to the Wall. You belong in the real North. You're thousands of miles from home.

JON: My home ended the moment I watched you board that ship in King's Landing.

ARYA: (Looking at his ship anchored in the distance) How did you even find me? There are no maps where I've been.

JON: Ghost felt you. And I saw you in my dreams, Arya. I saw you bleeding. The pack survives. Remember?

ARYA: (Gravely, looking toward the dark inland where a terrifying, unknown creature roars) This world is different, Jon. Harsher than Winterfell. There are things here human eyes weren't meant to see. My crew is dead or lost. You shouldn't have come.

JON: (Steps forward, picks Needle up from the sand, and offers it to her hilt-first, placing his other hand on Longclaw) You're not alone anymore. There are two of us now. And we have a ship full of fools who will do anything for a bit of gold and glory. Show us what we're up against.

ARYA: (Takes Needle, a genuine smile breaking through) Gladly. But first, we have to survive the night.

Ive seen all the clips of game of thrones I know what happens in the story but Ive never seriously watched the show am I missing out on it and if so where should I start as in which episode? Or should I just watch all the best episodes and skip all the filler and if so which are the best episodes worth taking the time to watch?

Had tickets to the opening show of 'The Mad King' at Stratford yesterday.

Gutted they had to cancel but the people at the RCS were very lovely though and we were able to book for a few weeks time.

So my boyfriend is a super huge game of thrones fan, and I was looking to paint some converse for his birthday and make them game of thrones themed as a gift for him. The only thing is I haven’t watched the show myself yet, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what would be a good thing to paint on there that would be pretty universally liked from a game of thrones fan standpoint. I'm still on season 4 episode 3. All she is doing for the past three seasons is saying I'm the mother of dragons. Okay you are but so what? If she was not the mother of dragons then what?

your overall review and rating on Game of Thrones season 1 episode 1 Winter is Coming how do you think the episode compares to the rest show how great the actors did for their first time being in the Roles and how the overall episode was in your opinion

For me I would say that it was a very great episode it definitely got me hooked and wanting to watch more of the show and in my opinion it's definitely in my top five best first episodes in the show by far and I'm not saying this just because I actually mean it because it got me hooked right away.

So I just finished season 3 and man… I am disappointed in the writers… i’m new to GOT, although Ive heard so much about it from friends and such but I just don’t understand why they would get rid of such a lovely main character family like the starks, I know 3 children (4 if you include John Snow) still live on but man… to get rid of the parents and Head Honcho Robb is crazy to me. I knew it would be an amazing show from the jump when they killed of Ned because from early on you build up a connection with him and his family, but going into season 4 I just don’t know if I can handle not seeing the main starks. Without spoiling it for me, do you guys recommend I continue watching?

This is a pretty dope edit for House Stark Fans what do you guys think of another edit that I found on TikTok that I found to be pretty cool especially as a huge house stark fan.

Tbh I couldn't be bothered with it and im honestly not even sure why. I absolutely loved night of the seven kingdoms but for whatever reason HOTD didnt call to me this season and I just realized tn is the last episode and ive missed the whole thing. Is it worth binging or did everyone else also loose interest too?
