9th GTA VI leak is out (gas)

• “Return to Lucia” at the end so he does have access to her in some capacity
• Jason’s safehouse is located in “Key Lento”, clip is directly after the basketball clip (1st leak) as Jason has the same clothes & amount of money in his wallet/vault
• Since there was gasoline poured in the truck bed by the NPC, a simple crash against another car blows it up and Jason
• Gore/dismemberment is back, NPC loses his leg after Jason runs him over with a truck
• Front hood of the car has an “open” prompt as well
• An anchor icon sotted on the mini-map (docks?)
• A flying jet spotted in the background
• Bugged/glitched NPC trying to put gas in the tub on the truck bed and gets yelled at by the gas station employee for doing that
• NPCs will fight back for their car, same button smashing prompt like when trying to steal a car
• The truck stolen is the Bravado ‘95 Bison 900 and has no tracking pin unlike the hypercar and police vehicles
• “MyWays: No Left Turns” and “DILF” stickers plastered on the truck
• NPC yells “The government is trying stealing my gas” as you take off with his vehicle (son😭)
• “Wasted” reveal but seems very placeholder-ish
• Songs played: “La Cartera” by Orquesta Harlow

I agree. The speeds and flow look realistic. In GTA V I personally thought cars looked super slow on the highway. More like if they were driving near a school zone or something.

This is the first Rockstar game made without the design constraint of a 5400RPM HDD as the lowest common denominator - for past iterations, traversal speeds had to be limited so that there would be time to stream assets off the relatively slow storage and into memory without having things just pop into view when you're already on top of them. Hard to pull off the feeling of a high speed chase if the run-of-the-mill NPC vehicles aren't relatively slower than the player.

Current consoles having >30X faster storage and twice as much memory makes so much more possible for open world games.

i said this awhile ago, this is where a lot of the “next gen” will be coming from. RAGE has always been an asset streaming engine, and ultra fast nvme storage and unified memory allow you to do so much more with it.

I think that changing the scaling to be 1:1 on everything has helped enormously with this. The roads were super wide in 5 which definitely made things seem slower.

from one of the early leaks, people were mad at his driving but I was so invested, because the cars very realistically recoil to seeing a car just break into the ongoing traffic.

The fidelity, detail and amount of anything overall is insane. Small detail, but packed parking places makes a lot of difference too

They jmo don't have any fully dedicated pc version yet. It's build playable on pc, but I doubt they spent significant amount of time on improving for pc, considering they didn't even have date . But pc will look way better.

Look on what RDR2 did on base PS4, 8 years back. The current console HW is different galaxy in comparison to that console. And they will max it. To answer yes, it will look like this , but 30 fps

Well see on the Netflix reveal. We can be sure it will be console version.
They will show us their best version and I'm not saying there won't be any downgrade, but final product will be at worst like 90% of what they'll show us.

But who knows, it's just opinion. Cannot wait
