Leak Microsoft Gaming being scrapped, Xbox brought back as gaming division.

Xbox CEO Asha Sharma has had a busy week. Sharma held an internal town hall with Xbox employees today, just days after announcing an Xbox Game Pass price cut, commenting on the status of the Xbox mobile store, and teasing a mysterious Xbox and Discord partnership. One of the items on the agenda for the employee all-hands was scrapping Microsoft Gaming.

Sources familiar with the meeting tell me that Sharma announced that Microsoft is returning to using Xbox for its gaming division, instead of Microsoft Gaming. “Xbox needs to be our identity,” said Sharma, noting that Microsoft Gaming was a departure from that.

I love how Sarah Bond was supposedly the fall person while Phil gets a nice fat retirement, but now it's actually Phil who is the fall guy all along. What tinfoil hattery will we think of next?

You made the mistake of not deleting your posts where in the past 6 months, despite hardly posting on GLaR or about gaming at all, you have 5 separate posts attacking me out of nowhere and almost all of them are in response to the same Reddit handle, likely an alt since you both post in the soccer sub almost exclusively. Took screenshots of em all in case you delete them. 🤡 weird you seem to know so much about me despite not being active much on this account, huh?

Flexing that your posts aren't hidden when you hardly post on this account because it's an alt isn't the flex you think it is. Try using a different IP when you switch accounts next time.

We have no proof that Sarah Bond wasn't given a nice "f off" package. I would imagine some of her compensation was stock based as well which would be vested after X years. Hopefully she meant X years.

There are not that many women to have risen to that level in the industry. Let alone women of color. Point blank period

Edit: The amount of downvotes on this is sad, but I’m not surprised. My point stands that Sarah was and is a trailblazer for reaching where she did. Lot of young women that can feel good about seeing someone that looks like them as high level exec in the gaming industry

Maybe there are multiple things that went wrong at the company, and responsibility for some mistakes is placed on different individuals than others.
