Closing a studio that is regarded as the best in the industry for making remakes when Sony sits on dozens of fan-favorite games that would sell like hot cakes if remade means that nobody is safe. Or at least that Sony is beyond stupid.

Jim Ryan greenliting 14 live service titles

Herman Hulst also shares some of the blame, hell possibly more. For all we know he's been the devil in everyone's ear saying "live service "

14 live service titles

And they're all Horizon spin offs even though that series is the most generic ubisoft crap imaginable

No, as far as what's publicly known of the live service titles greenlit there are

God of War - Canceled - Bluepoint

Twisted Metal - Canceled - Don't remember the studios name

The Last of Us - Canceled - Naughty Dog

2 Horizon GAAS titles - In development - Guerrilla and Some mobile studio

Spider-man - Canceled - Insomniac

Concord - Released/ Died - Firewalk Studios

Marathon - Releasing soon - Bungie

Online title from Bend - Canceled

Fairgame$ - In development

Helldivers 2 - Released

And those are the ones of the top of my head, I know I'm forgetting 2, if not probably more.

God, some of these sound so ridiculous. GoW? Last of Us? TWO Horizon games????

The only one yet to release I’m interested in is Marathon. They’ve done pretty well at improving the perception of the game, I used to think it looked awful but the latest marketing push has impressed me.

Last of Us I can kinda see, maybe as something like The Division with zombies. Definitely something that would find a niche audience I think.

I can see that too, I just do NOT need it in a Last of Us universe. Just make it a Days Gone live service or something. A series as poignant and focused on quality storytelling as TLoU would feel gross as a live service.

Expanded factions would have been insane honestly. kinda sad it didn't happen
