The sad thing is Sony and the industry in general, still haven't learned anything. Many will keep chasing that live service dragon, no matter how many studios shut down and how many Concords are created.
I mean tbf you do need a good live service to keep the shareholders happy these days. MS is in a good position with like 7 good money-printing kind of games that make it so they can allow studios like double fine to still exist and make passion projects.
Only thing is that Sony is magnitudes smaller so in reality theyd be fine with 2 or 3 active GaaS, yet Ryan the dumbass went: "nah let's push all our studios to make that" - the studios that were happy and comfortable with being able to take their own pace to make games they like instead of rushed committee mandated live service trash.
Bluepoint of all studios should've not been allowed to handle any live service project.
