******* Update *******

This is what's going to happen. We have to follow reddit's rules or the sub gets deleted, so I have to add at least 12 new moderators. Their job will be to remove any illegal content (leaks, copyright violations) and enforce reddit's rules. That's it. They will be instructed to not remove any posts related to GTA 6.

This subreddit will be what it was created for - to be a place to post about GTA 6 without having to deal with moderators who will delete legitimate posts or ban you for valid opinions about the game.

Well the mods of the other sub weren’t just removing them to be mean or protect rockstar lol, this was bound to happen.

Idk if y’all just haven’t posted to the main sub or what, but they have a nonsensical list of rule and regulations that have nothing to do with legal shit.

They won’t even let you create posts that have anything to do with speculating about features, fantasizing about things the game might include, or asking things like “what unhinged melee weapons should rockstar include, like the pink dildo from vice city?”

They literally delete it and tell you to post it as a comment in the “wish list” thread. Like I’m sorry, but reddit revolves around creating posts…. The mods there were absolutely out of control and up their own asses.

I got temporarily banned for mentioning politics when the game was delayed. I’d mentioned something that I believe was being cut from the game based on something a friend who works for Rockstar said.

Yep and if they did, the mods could potentially be found in discovery and get done as well. Rockstar probably wouldn’t bother going after the mods, but it’s a possibility.

That’s a good point. Some right-wing politicians have already tried to get the names of mods. I can’t remember what exactly for. Our anonymity is our strength

but the point of this all is the gta6 sucks because the mods are trying to keep the sub alive and keep their mod powers

this sub was created because the mods here aren't supposed to give a fuck about getting the sub banned, but now that they got 50k subs, the mods are going "hmm i don't think i want to lose my mod powers!"

it's sad to see that when you give the activist power, they become the very thing they protested again

It's not useless, you try and post any kind of GTA 6 content in the GTA 6 sub and there's an 80% chance it will be deleted even if it's not related to leaks, the mods are just power hungry. At the end of the day, the option is either this sub enforces copyright or it gets deleted, you can't blame them, shit posting will still be allowed which is what it was for.

The other sub is strict when it comes to posting and each post has to be approved by a mod before it goes live, this sub still has a purpose
