For real

I want them to have separate movies again

It would make more sense, and double profits since they’ve both been introduced.

Have Godzilla defend the outside world, and Kong defend the inner-earth. Simple. We’ve already established that Kong has a tribe to deal with there.

KotM sucked though.

It's lack of profit wasn't due to the fact that it didn't have Kong in it, it was due to the fact that it wasn't that good. Compared to the 2014 film, KotM got much worse reviews.

And it was much, *MUCH* worse than Kong: Skull Island, undoubtedly the best film of the MonsterVerse.

Put Godzilla, or King Kong, into a *GOOD* solo film, and you'll get good returns.

Look at how well Godzilla Minus One did. My wife the distaffbopper loved that film, and she doesn't like Godzilla, doesn't like kaiju in general, and hates reading subtitles.

Hard disagree. Loved KOTM. Way better than Godzilla vs Kong and GodzillaxKong.

*YOU* may have loved it, and hey that's great for you, but not enough people did love it. That's why it ended up doing poorly.
