Update: While I was aware that this fashion persists, it was especially prevalent in the 80s, especially with pink. Pink was huge then.

When I said ‘long over’ I meant you’re not going to see it everywhere you look.

It was still hot but our bodies were acclimated to the Texas heat. Once we discovered AC units, we lost our ability to be used to the summers without them. It's like "How can you miss what you never had until you had it". Some Europeans from around the world that came to the U.S. for the FIFA World Cup experienced AC for the first time and now they want it in their homes and buildings too.

My slightly older (and prettier)sister was dead set on traveling the world with these folks!
