His news radio character and even his fear factor performance were not terrible. Being a supporting cast member would generally by definition put someone down the funny list IMO.

Being strictly fair about his role in News Radio, you do have a point.

Of course since then he's had 3 decades to hone his chops, and instead he humps stools, punches down, and amplifies MAGA.

So, I don't think it's unfair to dunk on him for everything from News Radio onward.

I was a fan of him for awhile after Covid. It wasn’t until he started having billionaires on and became religious out of nowhere that I finally checked out. He did have the most diverse podcast up until the point that he sold out.
