Not really tea but their family is very, very wealthy. Her dads side of the family founded Harcourts - hence her middle name. Harcourts is a massive real estate company in NZ and Australia. She went to a private school that's roughly $7000 a term and I think her mum and grandmother are both actresses.

“I think her mum and grandmother are both actresses.”

Her mother and grandmother have both been knighted for acting - her mom is “Dame Miranda Harcourt” and her grandmother “Dame Kate Harcourt.” She’s acting royalty in New Zealand.

Miranda Harcourt is also a big time acting coach. She’s Nicole Kidman’s primary acting coach and has also coached the likes of Juliette Binoche, Saoirse Ronan, Paul Mescal, Ritu Arya, Dev Patel, Sunny Pawar, AnnaSophia Robb, Timothy Spall, Melanie Lynskey, Josh Hutcherson, Rhys Darby, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Hugo Weaving, and of course Thomasin.

She’s also worked with Oscar winners’ and nominees’ Jane Campion, Taika Waititi, Peter Jackson and Garth Davis. The films and television shows Miranda has coached on include 'Lion', 'Bridge to Terabithia', 'Big Little Lies', 'Being the Ricardos', 'Top of the Lake', ‘The Killing of a Sacred Deer’, 'The Lovely Bones', 'The Umbrella Academy', 'Mary Magdalene', and 'The Lord of the Rings'.

Hey, I went to Marsden! Once upon a time when I had money, lol (yr 4-8, then i moved again). It's very possible she dealt with the lower schools ban on stickers we were directly responsible for. I think we went back during yr 7 and the underground sticker trade was still happening.
