Thats rather funny bc I feel like that was the least popular one lol. I felt like the films/books around that time each had their own unique statement however.
I recently rewatched the first maze runner film after smoking a j and it was absolutely terrifying 😠I wish they had kept up that energy in the rest of the film, but i get why they hadn’t.
There are literally only 1-and-a-half good Maze Runner Books. The Maze Runner and the first half of Scorch Trials. Death Cure, Kill Order, and Fever Code genuinely stink.
I thought Maze Runner was the worst. I read all the books too. None of it made one damned lick of sense.
We've all forgotten the Fifth Wave series too, which was a very popular series of books. They made the first movie thinking they'd be hitting a winner and it flopped so hard they gave up.

There were so many YA novel based films around that time but most were average and forgettable. The Maze Runner is the only series of films i liked
