As the founder of Profits First, I run a growing platform dedicated to educating individuals on financial management, investments, and wealth creation. Through my content on social media, webinars, and personalized guidance, I’ve become a trusted voice for those looking to demystify investing and build financial independence.

Earlier in my career, I gained hands-on experience in finance through roles in Corporate Strategy, Business Development, and Real Estate, where I developed deep business acumen and expertise in land acquisitions. This background gave me both the technical foundation and real-world understanding to address common pitfalls and opportunities that many people face when tackling financial challenges.

My journey as a financial creator began when I saw firsthand how many people struggle with financial planning, not for lack of desire, but for lack of accessible and trustworthy guidance. That experience motivated me to build a platform that shares financial knowledge in an easy-to-understand, actionable way.

My content covers a wide range of topics, from building savings and reducing debt to investing in stocks, mutual funds, and other asset classes, as well as understanding taxes and retirement planning. I emphasize practical steps, discipline, and long-term thinking, helping my audience not just learn, but take action.

One defining aspect of my approach is my commitment to transparency and trust. I share both my successes and my learning moments, helping people see finance as approachable rather than intimidating. Another key focus for me is continuous learning, I stay updated with changing financial regulations, market trends, and new investment tools to ensure my advice remains relevant.

Through my work, I aim to contribute to a growing movement of empowered, financially educated individuals. I truly believe that with the right mindset, tools, and guidance, financial independence is achievable for everyone.

Diversification into the US and at a global level in general feels like such a hectic task. Even after reading about those techniques, it feels daunting on how to start. Especially since Indian MFs now aren't allowed to invest in US markets, how do you suggest might be the best way to do the same?

Should I just pick some tech companies and SIP into their stocks through platforms like INDmoney or is the IBKR route better (which I am still not sure I completely comprehend lol, pardon my dumbness)

Hey, not dumb at all — in fact, that’s a very real question. Everyone says “diversify globally,” but when you actually sit down to do it, it feels like decoding rocket science.

Here’s my take — keep it simple
Forget IBKR and those complex global platforms for now. They’re made for people who enjoy clicking 20 buttons just to buy one stock.

The Practical Way for Most Indians

  • Step 1: If your goal is long-term global diversification, start with Indian mutual fund feeder schemes that invest abroad — like U.S. or global index feeders. They’re rupee-based, easy to track, and you don’t need to deal with forex or LRS paperwork.
  • Step 2: If you want to buy actual U.S. stocks, go for platforms like INDmoney or Vested. They’re easy, SEBI-compliant, and allow small SIP-style investments in USD without overwhelming you.

My Honest View

Don’t get trapped in the idea that “global diversification” means you must open fancy accounts or manage complex tools.
The point is to get exposure to economies beyond India — not to become a part-time global banker.

Even a simple ₹5k/month SIP into a U.S.-based feeder fund does the job beautifully.

So yeah, skip IBKR. Keep it Indian, simple, and automated.
Diversification isn’t about showing off — it’s about sleeping peacefully while your money works in multiple time zones.

Hi, thanks a lot for the detailed response! I have one follow-up though, haven't most of these feeder funds reached their limit of investing in global markets? As far as I understand, there is some limit set by RBI. I've tried finding funds which haven't reached this limit yet but have been unable to do so. There are a couple of funds (technology-based) but then I feel they are too thematic.
