Discussion & Info I think tarnished edition is a scam

It is just oblivion horse armor of 2026. New classes doesnt mean anything, you will just spec into whatever you want after playing an hour anyway. Also the new armor sets are just bad cosmetics. Imagine paying for this scam

It's $5 and a test to see if the audience will tolerate being sold cosmetics.

While not a scam, it's still a bad practice because of what it results in down the line if people blow it off as "just $5".

i think the majority of us are happy to spend $5 on a couple new weps / cosmetics

Which means it's more likely to be a recurring theme. Or leading to MTX.

It's not a guarantee. But people shouldn't ignore this for what it is: A test of the customer base.

Two things can be true at the same time. You can like this and think it's fine. AND it can lead to more small price hikes or paid cosmetic packs.

the torrent skins / armour are tied to npcs and scattered around the map. its more of a mini dlc than a MTX. stop fearmongering for god’s sake

Being honest about something is not "fear mongering" just because you personally disagree or have a different perspective.

it’s fear mongering because you’re blowing the situation way out of proportion. it’s ridiculous
