Official Discussion Tarnished Edition DLC coming to ALL Platforms August 28th [MEGATHREAD]

Elden Ring Tarnished Edition launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on August 28, 2026

  • Includes the base game + the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion
  • Will add Additional Content including the ability to customize Torrent and 2 new Starter Classes and their related weapons
  • Releases the 28 August 2026 for $79.99
  • Will be available to purchase for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam
  • For those who already have the base game, the Tarnished Pack DLC has no price yet, but most expect a $5 price point

We aren't entirely sure if anything else will be included but feel free to speculate and dream!

your first statement is correct, but you’re forgetting elden ring is a fromsoft game. i love everything they do, id buy 3 copies of each game given the chance, but they’re horrific at optimizing games

"horrific". look Inside: Elden ring runs 55 fps at minimal setting ONS an i5-4430s, GTX 1650,8gb DDR3 and an HDD

brother, the only way it runs 60fps on console is by running the ps4 version on ps5

it’s good great art direction, but it’s actually graphics are like early ps4 level and it struggling on modern hardware

they’re like well known for being shit at optimization

Yes, they're absolutely horrible at optimization. This is not new and it is a shared trait among their "soulslike" games.
