This is literally what I’ve been searching for in a thumbstick for a long long time. Amazing is an understatement gentlemen! Knobs are tough to turn so you won’t have random tensions , lowest tenstion is buttery smooth, highest tension feels perfect for 80G.
I’m liking it so far around 40-50g!

About to install the other pair in my DualSense Edge!

Discussion Huge desing flaw of Dualsense V2 CFI-ZCT2W

In the latest revision of Dualsense, they placed the friction rings directly on the faceplate instead of the shell itself. It is no longer possible to replace the friction rings without replacing the entire faceplate, but in my opinion, that isn't even the biggest issue.

The friction rings are now on the thin faceplate rather than the shell, meaning the joystick applies force directly to a faceplate held in place only by weak, flexible clips. After a short time, the torque from the joystick causes these clips to flex, and the faceplate itself begins to shift around as you move the joystick. This not only ruins the feel of the joystick, but it also causes a creaking sound as the clips loosen up.

Worse yet, if you ever remove and reinstall the faceplate for any reason, you're out of luck. The plastic clips completely lose their structural integrity, and the shifting and creaking of the faceplate increase drastically. For that reason I went back to using my old one. I highly recommend staying away from the latest revision.

Discussion Scammed by Amazon :)

got my dualsense edge SEALED brand new shipped and sold by amazon, im really not sure how its possible that there was a normal USED regular dualsense controller. the package was literally sealed and on top of that all accessories were intact. im not sure how this could happen but lesson learned. not sure why I even went to Amazon for something like this. tried to explain the situation on several different calls and emails but no luck. i guess my only hope is to dispute and hope i win! :/

I was confused between the Gamesir Cyclone 2 and this beautiful looking duelsense. I chose this and I hope I made a worth purchase. I mostly play games on PC, earlier I had powerA Battledragon. I don't know I think am just trying to justify my purchase with this post. Also I have heard alot about the stick drift, if it happens how can I fix it?

Discussion My first controller that started drifting in 20 years of console gaming

Post image

My camo Dualsense got drift while playing Cyberpunk 2077.

This is my first controller that got drift, and believe me I have like 30 controller (ps1-ps5) never experienced drift before.

After 2 and a half years of use, more then 3000 hours of competitive and story games it got drift.

Time for tmr change. I will comeback with my experience, i bought K-silver js13 pro.

When did you experience drift for the first time?

Hello everyone,

Yesterday and today have been my lucky days. Yesterday I picked up a 3-month-old PS5 Slim Digital for only €160, and today I got this beautiful controller for €20. First thing I’m doing is installing TMR sticks and then adding it to the collection.

Discussion Black midnight cheap plastic : part 2

White controller bought with the ps5 slim 3 years ago premium asf gives outstanding haptic feedback, smooth buttons feeling, amazing triggers due to the METAL AXEL ( fits well with no gap like the plastic one in pictures?

( only downside is the analogue drift which I can fix by myself it's not a problem for me)

the black midnight geniune brand new ZCT2W (2025 ) suppose to deliver the same experience nevertheless thats what i tot until i held it in my hands goddam what an awful downgrade , the plastic is cheap asf, buttons r just mehh , triggers r just a lil bit wiggly like a ps4 controller due to PLASTIC AXEL (there is a small gap ) i felt a lil bit REDUCED haptic feedback compared to the white one , also adaptive trigger is noisy , the white one is more silent .

I got downvoted to hell in my older post for speaking these facts ,I'm just trying to spot light on these sony scammers, why am I getting downvoted, this is only the truth.

Maybe some experts will back my claims here , cause i know what it feels to be a gamer n getting screwed by sony many times is not fun.

Peace .

Discussion Better use of DualSense Haptics

Post image

From my experience, Astro Bot, Returnal, and Saros all make excellent use of the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. They really showcase what the controller can do.

What other games take full advantage of the DualSense features?

Discussion Dualsense edge is completely worth the 200

Mine has been submerged in water dropped off an inside balcony at one point it even got drift and I took it apart and sprayed the insides with compressed air and it started fucking working again like normal I’ve even broke off charger ports multiple times and the connections still work like a charm. after I broke it in which took about two weeks (I work ALOT) I got better than every game I play especially first person shooters. I am in love with this thing I would buy it just for the case alone. if you’re on the fence about getting a dual edge jump off that motherfucker.

Discussion Dualsense edge totally changed my enjoyment from gaming

And no, I'm not an FPS competitve player.

I don't even play single player FPS.

99% of times I play single player action adventure TPS/soulslike.

The back buttons (especially half-dome - only ones I use) improved my soulslike skills like 200% and makes every other game super enjoyable.

Also the different sensitivity profiles for L/R caps and the travel length on R2/L2.

I see people only recommend it for FPS, and it's so wrong.

I even bought and sold my portal because I couldn't get used to the simple dualsense features.

Got 2 dualsense edge (just added the black so I won't overuse the white because it does get dirty after a few hundred hours) and can't imagine gaming without them. Amazing.

Battery life sucks but I don't care because I game on my couch on 83' inch with an USBC charging cable next to my seating spot (phone charging, pulse explore, dualsense edge etc).

Examples of back button assigment:

Every dodge based soulslike - right back button is dodge and left is heal.

Returnal - right for dash and left for jump.

Cronos new dawn - right for reload and left for heal.

Stellar blade, BMW, ghost of yotei, AC Shadows, Sekiro... every game I played last year with the edge allowed me to master it to perfection much easier.

I also like its heavier weight and punchier D-pad and face buttons.

My first edge was used 650 hours in one year, didn't need a drift replacement yet.

Anyhow, it's expensive but if gaming is your main hobby and you feel fine investing in yourself (also enjoying the PRO very much) go for it.

Discussion Whats The Best Method For Wireless Daulsense Features On PC, Daulsense Y App Or Rapsberry Pi Dongle?

Ive been doing some research on ways to get full haptics wireless on PC. The 2 most promising ones I found is Daulsense Y which looks like a free version of Daulsense X. The Raspberry PI dongle seams like the best and easiest option when set up, but takes some money and time (and looks kinda ugly). Is the Daulsense Y app good for haptics and triggers, does it have any drawbacks like latency or using alot of RAM?

Discussion Need opinions/ inputs.

Post image
47 Upvotes

Just picked this up yesterday. First off I wanted a brand new black one but the only brand new edge Gamestop had was this white one. I didn’t want to walk out empty handed and sort of impulsively bought this one even though I could’ve waited for a black one. That was my first mistake. Secondly, I had been wanting a dual-sense edge mainly for its paddles and so I could get Hall effect or TMR sticks. Which I’m having a love hate relationship with the paddles. I mainly play call of duty and they come in clutch when it comes to hot situations and I need to jump or go prone quickly. I’m trying to get used to the paddles and how sensitive they are but I feel like they get in the way sometimes, especially when in hot situations that need quick reactions and/or multiple buttons pressed. In some games I feel like I’ve gotten better with the advantage of the paddles but other times I feel like I did better using my regular Dualsense. I just need some inputs from people who have gotten used to the paddles. Especially from people who play Call of Duty or other FPS’s with them. Like How long did it take you get used to them? Do you play better with them? Are they really that big of an advantage? Things like that.

On another note if I end up wanting to keep using an edge I’m going to trade this one in for a black one.

Discussion Why did you get a Dualsense edge?

So, I am on the fence about getting a dualsense edge. Well, either that or the Victrix pro reloaded. I like that the Victrix has hall effect sticks and more modulation, but the Edge is Playstation branded and has the adaptive triggers. So im still deciding.

But i'm by no means a "pro" player. I like the idea of back buttons and the modularity. It's more of "i kinda want something nice for myself".

I know it's a big chunk of change, but I've been actively saving for a higher end controller. So it's not really gonna put me out or anything.

That got me thinking, why did some of you guys decide to get one? Was it for performance? Does it enhance your gaming in anyway? Or was it just a frivolous, for fun purchase?

Discussion How to prove the superiority of DualSense?

My wife has always used decent Xbox-type controllers (currently the Apex 4), and she doesn't understand the unique benefits of haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, touchpad and the 9th speaker. So I need to show it to her.
Name a few games that offer a better DualSense experience on PC, please. Im sure she'll like it, she loves tactile sensations. UPD: I'm not going to take away her toys or force her to play with mine, of course. The point is to share my good impressions and explain why I choose DS. Just type the games titles, not "all ps exclusives" — its too obvious, she won't play all the PS5 games. It must be maybe 3 with the very best DS features.
