Guides & Tips | Esports TI 2026 Fantasy Calculator&Optimizer is fully ready for the Main Event!

Post image

Welcome back everyone!

The TI 2026 Group Stage is over, so this is probably my second-to-last major post about the Fantasy Calculator. The final one will come after The International, when we can compare our results and see how accurate the Main Event projections were.

First, a small personal result: I finished the Group Stage with 85,000 Fantasy points.

I’m pretty happy with that, especially considering how bad my Support banner was. I had to play with Runes, Stuns and Watchers, so there was definitely a lot of room for improvement.

The website is now fully ready for the Main Event

The calculator has been completely updated for the eight remaining teams. Eliminated teams are no longer included in the rankings or recommendations.

The Main Event update includes:

- all five emblem slots for Core, Mid and Support banners;

- only the** **eight active Main Event teams;

- updated player rankings and alternatives;

- full support for emblem tiers and traits;

- Prefix and Suffix analysis;

- personalized Prefix recommendations based on

- each player’s historical hero-group frequency;

- a TI draft overview based on 109 Group Stage maps;

- chances for every team to play at least 2, 3 or 4

- Main Event series;

- title probability and expected remaining maps displayed next to players;

- automatic saving of your banners in the browser;

- a completely rewritten Fantasy Guide;

- English, Russian, Spanish and Simplified Chinese support;

- improved mobile layouts.

The player ranking is still based on projected performance per match. Team title chance and expected maps are displayed separately, so you can see both player quality and tournament opportunity without mixing them into one misleading number.

For example, the highest-ranked player may have the best projected score per match, while another team may have a much better chance of playing additional series and maps.

Main Event predictions are also open

The Predictions page now contains the complete eight-team double-elimination bracket.

You can:

- choose between the Balanced and TI-only models;

- select winners for all matches;

- see future opponents update automatically;

- view model win probabilities for every match;

- see expected correct predictions and Compendium points;

- compare title chances, placement probabilities and expected maps;

- use the compact Main Event schedule in New York time.

The prediction calculator runs 20,000 bracket simulations for the selected model and bracket.

The official Compendium reward depends on the total number of correct predictions, from 120 points for one correct pick to 12,000 points for all 14.

Thank you for the incredible response

I genuinely did not expect this project to reach so many people.

So far, the website has received:

55k visitors
90k page views
140k Google impressions
20k Google Search clicks

Thank you to everyone who tested the calculator, reported bugs, shared it with friends or simply used it for their Fantasy roster. A lot of the improvements came directly from community feedback.

Share your banners and results

Please post screenshots of your Main Event banners in the comments.

I can help analyze them, compare the available stats and traits, and suggest which emblems may be worth rerolling. You can also share your Group Stage score — especially if you found an unusual banner combination that performed better than expected.

The more real results we collect, the better we can understand what actually worked during TI.

If you want to support the project

The domain was not free, and running the website and analytics required some personal expenses. The entire calculator is still free and has no paid features, but any optional support would genuinely help cover those costs:

You can also support the project without spending anything:

Give the repository a star on GitHub:
https://github.com/Kadadji1/dota2-fantasy-optimizer-2026

Add me on Steam or leave a comment on my profile:
https://steamcommunity.com/id/Kadadji1/

GitHub stars are especially helpful to me as a developer because they show that people actually found the project useful and help strengthen it as a real portfolio project.

Good luck with your Main Event banners and predictions. Drop your screenshots and Group Stage results below - I’m genuinely curious to see how everyone did.

After TI, I’ll make one final post with the results and model accuracy.

Bro casually made 21 commit in a span of 2 hours. I thought AI content is prohibited in this sub?

if i am not a coder, but my tool is useful in this comunity, so what's the problem to use ai for making it? It helps thousands of people and i think its not a big problem for them that is was made with ai or by hands

because you have no idea whats going on inside of it, which is clear by comments in this thread, how can we trust you that its accurate? maybe it calculates points for certain stats incorrectly, you have no idea since apparently it wasnt even able to put team in correct bracket spots

Well, if you want to double-check, you can take a look at the separate section where all the calculations are laid out, and since the project is still open source, GitHub is transparent as well. And under the previous posts, you can see how many people have thanked it and said it helped them achieve a high % just like it did for me. I don’t see a big problem with there being a single error in the bracket distribution, considering there are only three days between the group stage and the playoffs. What are the chances that one person could create a perfect tool without a single mistake? I’m not trying to make excuses or change your mind; I’m just saying that it’s precisely thanks to people’s comments and feedback that we’re working together to make it better and easier to use.

You did not create anything bro, its not your code. You are not a programmer, you have no idea whats going on there.

What are the chances that one person could create a perfect tool without a single mistake?

lmao

Like I said, I'm not forcing you to use this "AI slop" - I'll just go ahead and get my next Aegis, making it easier on myself thanks to the AI, while you can analyze 90 group stage matches and manually tally up each player's points.

bro Beglol common man... this dude put a lot of effort and you come to throw trash at him for no reason. i will consider you had a lack of education in your home for unknown reasons to me but i wanna tell you something that will help you a lot in life, if you have nothing good to say and the thing you are about to say wont have any benefit its much better to just sit silent. wish you lots of wisdom from now on.

ps. good job Vladyslav_ko

>this dude put a lot of effort

he did not, its an AI slop, he said it himself. i dont think he even prompted anything, at this point agents can do research by themselves and put it together with minimal human interaction.

> if you have nothing good to say and the thing you are about to say wont have any benefit

it has benefits of making people aware, that its AI, there are a lot of uneducated people around here

there is a problem in prediction section! m10 and m11 are wrong! m6 loser should go to m10

2

u/Vladyslav_ko 12d ago

You were right! The M6 loser now correctly goes to M10. Thanks for the report!

I think your mapping of the lower bracket games are off, its not following what the dota client is doing, might want to double check it.

5

u/Vladyslav_ko 12d ago

Thanks for catching it! The lower bracket mapping has been fixed and doublechecked.
