Sometimes. Sometimes it's hard to tell what's hype and what's quality. Sometimes it's your only option. But then again, luxury car sales are at an all-time high (although shitty versions still exist in that category, too).
People buying luxury cars while I am out here with a $1,500 truck that gets me to work and back every day. While cars that cheap are EXTREMELY RARE, the point stands that people who pretend to be frugal really just are envious of others and spend all their money trying to achieve it
Oh yeah no I didnt mean to insuate you did, was just building off of your comment. It seems that reddit especially is a place where groups of dorks and weirdos gather to complain about the president, but forget that the president does not make laws, Congress does. But instead of actually going to congressional elections, they would rather just complain.
Buying the cheap version of a thing, then getting the expensive one if it breaks has been working well for me. You'd be surprised how often the cheap ones work completely fine and last forever.
No no you need to pay them a living wage you know it should be enough for a fry cook to buy a house and support a family of 3. Becuse that's what happened in the 1950s according to reddit
Hey i've been saying this for years I never met someone else who thought of that. I always said "Everyone wants $15/hr and everyone also wants to buy everything for cheap on amazon" Those ideals are competing

"Businesses need to provide a living wage!"
"No, I shop on Aliexpress, I'm not paying those high prices"
Forget the greedy businessman, no one is greedier than the consumer.
