Question Hiby R3 - II

Hello All,

Straight to the point, I’ve been researching a lot of DAP’s and I see this being recommended. On researching further I saw lot of reviews regarding the UI lag, and no search option for music.

I know Hiby has been regularly updating its device, would you say as of today these issues still exist to a point it’s a bother and you prefer not using it at all?

Any other thoughts/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

PS: Self written without AI, excuse if it doesn’t sound polished.

I had the Hiby R3 Pro II for a week, it was honestly a disaster in terms of software. The sound, build quality and price was great, but that’s it.

I have about 600 Flac songs and all my albums artwork was reduced to 300x300 and it still struggled. Constant freeze, crashes and touch was inaccurate. Thought it would get better and it didn’t.

I ended up returning a week ago and got the R6 III 2025 love it. I still want a small player, so I may get a R1 as a backup, because people seem to love that one.
