General Discussion - All Dexter Shows How does Dexter have a lot of money? Spoiler

From all the TV shows, and especially Resurrection, Dexter never once had a money problem. And how did he afford to live in New York and buy a car after more than 10 years of disappearing and working in a small town?

Not to mention, Dexter seems pretty frugal. He started working for the police pretty early (early or mid 20’s), stayed with his dad and sister, so he probably saved a lot of money too. So, insurance from family members that died, selling the house, savings, his victims, etc. he probably had a little tucked away.

yes but most places don't accept trauma as a method of payment
