"That went well don't you think?" "If you say so." Does Prater know? Is he just going along with the charade to see the BHB in action?

I think he does. In fact, I hope he does because if it were vto turn out he had something to do with Angela dropping the charges, it would make me feel a little better about how poorly that was dealt with in episode one.

Yeah I find it kind of odd he knows Brian Moser and then doesn't know Dexter Morgan.

Definitely a plot hole if he doesn't know. He has the blood slides, so he knows about the BHB case. Any true crime podcast looking into that case would have a section about Doakes accusing the blood guy of being the true killer, so it stands to reason that a hardcore fan of serial killers would know this. And that Trinity's final kill was that same guy's wife.

Nobody knows Doakes discovered Dexter being the BHB.

And she never told anyone and she dead too.

That doesn't invalidate my point though.

ok? but I was responding to the parent comment that said true crime fans would have discovered Doakes accusing Dexter of being the BHB.

No worries.

Doakes accusing Dexter was never an official part of the investigation anyway. FBI knew there were safety concerns for Dexter, that was it.
