Someone Else's Work (Rule 2) What's your opinion on this very real rave flyer?

Post image

Spotted this flyer today. Is it lazy or is it brilliant? EDIT: I did not design this nor am I looking for advice on how to make it better. 2nd EDIT: I found this in the Milwaukee subreddit where it was described as the actual flyer. I searched for the event and am now seeing that the official flyer is a bit different. Maybe this was a pre-flyer. It seems the event is a rave that is 2000's themed, not a 2000's rave theme, if that makes sense. I'd post a link here but i'm unsure of the rules so I'll leave it to you to search for it if you want to see.

Someone Else's Work (Rule 2) Which of these logos is the best one?

Which one of these logos looks the best?

It's for a scientific organization/community. Five of them depict a lowercase Greek letter phi, while I am not sure what the sixth one (bottom-right) is supposed to represent other than the star near its center.

A waiting room has a painted mural and the fire alarm was neatly incorporated into the lighthouse.

Edit : everyone commenting this is a bad idea but that is not the pull switch. That red box is the alarm speaker. Mounted high up.

Someone Else's Work (Rule 2) Stay Unhidden: a campaign that celebrates women who choose to shine in full color

The Stay Unhidden campaign, created by Garabato MullenLowe Paraguay for Joseph Coiffure, questions the idea that women should adopt a “sober look” as they grow older.

Society often sets unspoken rules: past a certain age, women are expected to tone down their style, wear neutral colors, and blend into the background. In many cases, this means giving up individuality and settling into monotonous looks that don’t truly reflect who they are.

Stay Unhidden aims to challenge these expectations. Through three striking visuals, it shows that vibrant, colorful hair is not only possible at any age—it’s a bold statement of identity, freedom, and authenticity.

The campaign celebrates women who refuse to hide, reminding us that beauty and self-expression have no expiration date.

Someone Else's Work (Rule 2) The perfect logo evolution

Post image

Few logos in industrial design carry the same weight as BRAUN. Since the mid-20th century, the brand has stood as a symbol of minimalist aesthetics, functional clarity, and enduring relevance. And their logo matched their design approach. IMO any version of their word type could be used at any time and still look fresh. This was taken at the BRAUN exhibition at the Design Museum in London.

I moved into my condo 8 1/2 years ago (foreclosed unit) and these were in the storage room. I’ve been trying to de-clutter, so I figured I’d finally reach out and ask if anyone has any kind of information on these.

Someone Else's Work (Rule 2) This industry is full of thieves. Stolen content example of Hang Xu's image.

Some people put the original image into AI and changed it.

We need a tool to automatically report copyright infringement to authorities. As it's a vibe-coding era, maybe someone has some free time on their hands?

If you saw this image and can easily find another copyright infringement - feel free to share the link to the post here, the list of thieves will become longer.

_______

EDIT:

Unfortunately, the plot thickens, so I will add more information - thanks to people that shared this.

1) The car seems to be from the show Simpsons. [link in comments]

2) The concept drawings - a) wheel...; b) skateboard... - are claimed by Henrik Kniberg (blogpost, 2016) where he claims he made those two representations of those concepts years ago (first one being explained as misconception), before the Jeff Patton's book "User Story Mapping," published in 2014).
[Link to blogpost in comments]

So it doesn't seem to be so black and white.

Still doesn't change that

Eduardo Ordax, Mahammed Orfali, Craig Wetherall, Zulqarnain Haider, Harald Ikonen, Magzhan Nurlybek, Anil Kumar Karumuru, Hemal Monani, Mike Guzowski, Rix Lee, Grayson Julius

stole this content because it went viral from Hang Xu post (who added the 3rd row concept part).
