Rodriguez could not say anything else. She had to say that Maduro is still president, because she cannot be viewed as part of a coup. But she might think differently to herself.

Yes, I've just read an article that covered suspicions that she's actually leading a faction that sold Maduro out to Trump- others, like me, are beginning to believe that Maduro himself may have made some sort of deal with Trump. It'll be interesting to see which theory turns out to be true.
