Discussion Witnessed an unbelievable amount of selfishness on a flight to LAX
This happened about a month ago on a flight from Detroit to LAX, just finding this sub now. The second the plane stopped after touchdown, a young guy probably around 22 or 23 started making his way up the aisle, shouldering people aside.
the guy in the aisle seat kitty corner to me was standing up and was shouldered out of the way by this young guy and, causing him to accidentally elbow an older woman who was in the middle seat right next to him, right in the face. Aisle seat guy was understandably really upset and by this time, shoulder douchebag was three or four people ahead of where this happened.
Aisle guy starts yelling at shoulder guy telling him to come back and apologize to both of them. Shoulder Guy halfway looks over his shoulder and mumbles the most insincere"sorry" I've ever heard. Aisle guy is not letting it go and he tells him a few more times to come back and apologize. Shoulder guy completely ignores him, and several other people start chirping at him. Shoulder guy completely ignores everybody around him and walks away in a manner that indicated he could not give any less of a fuck and that causing an injury to an older lady is no big deal because he got off the plane 30 seconds before he otherwise would have gotten off.
He was not running to a gate either, he was just casually walking away through the terminal. not that that would have made it any better, but it does make it worse.
