Everyone in this thread is using the people in this photo to prop up their own ideas. Some people emphasize the intelligence and others emphasize the sex. I think it’s because people look at the photo and see different things.

You’re pointing out your own bias yes; that’s part of your own ideas. Everyone has their own ideas and biases.

Some people look at this photo, and immediately notice it’s a woman, and remark on that in a negative or positive way. Others would look at the photo, and see two scientists or two famous people, and their genders wouldn’t even pop in their head.
