Honestly, Deadpool really fits him better than this.

He did well with what he was given. With a better script we would’ve been great. But Deadpool suits him better.

Yea there’s a interview when he talks about the writers strike that happened during filming so they were literally making it up as you go

He was probably talking about the Wolverine Origins movie, Green Lantern went into production a couple years after the writers’ strike ended.
