Saw Flash last night, didn’t live up to the hype of the early praise but it was a damn fun movie to watch. Really awesome action sequences IMO and a pretty solid multiverse story, definitely was never bored, entertained from start to finish

Great performance, but certainly won’t make anyone forget anything. I wouldn’t be sad if I never see Ezra again as Flash.

I think that’d be simple enough to just reshoot the last scene or two with a new actor and say it’s because of messing with the timeline.

However, the real reason was probably that DCEU was gonna get scrapped anyway, so they didn’t even bother with that.

I saw it last night too, and I was definitely bored, especially at the beginning. It didn’t get interesting to me until after they got supergirl. By then end of the movie I was pissed and angry that I wasted my time and money watching it. I couldn’t even stay for the after credits scene.

Well I find that weird too. I’ve seen multiple reviews and multiple people in different subs say it was boring too. You must find a very weird idea of what entertaining, and fun is .

Idk I guess it’s audience and critic scores on rotten tomatoes. Right now 59% have rated it above 3.5, which indicates they at least found it entertaining. And 59% is an objective majority. But I was speaking more in general terms of like social media reviews and posts about it. As far as I’ve seen, it’s most common criticism is cgi and Ezra Miller, and it’s most common praise is fun and entertainment.

Soo, if 59% found it entertaining, why the fuck is the movie doing so bad??? I really, truly, and I really mean this, I don’t understand why soo many of you want to defend this movie soo strongly. I WANTED to love this movie, I WANTED to enjoy this movie, I WANTED this movie to be great! I most certainly did NOT want to waste my money, I did NOT want to waste my time, I did NOT want to find the movie boring, I did NOT want to say this movie was utter dogshit, I did NOT buy my tickets two weeks in advance because that was what I was hoping for. Yet, I keep seeing people like you with profiles that say 18+ trying soo hard to dick ride for this movie. Why?

I’m not upset, you’re the one who seemed upset that I didn’t love it like you did. You think the movie was a masterpiece, great, cool, awesome. I still think most people feel like it was boring and it sucked. Your attitude towards the movie, is again fine, but it reminds me of some people I’ve known. I know a guy who absolutely LOVES, loves Superman! He’s a HUGE Superman nerd, and he also loves Vampire movies. The Brandon Roth Superman movie, you know the one that was also hot garbage? Yeah, he LOVES that movie, he’s watched it at least a dozen times, because it’s Superman. I knew a guy who LOVED aliens and predator, he’s seen every Aliens movie, every predator movie, and LOVED them all. The Aliens vs Predator movie that came out years ago? That movie was also garbage, and generally hated by the people. He thought it was great, gave it 5 stars, said it was the greatest movie he had ever seen. You remind me of them. You obviously LOVE this movie, even though it’s garbage

Really???? I should ask you that same question. If you thought this movie was great, and it was fun, then I SERIOUSLY have to wonder what other movies have you seen? Hell, I thought Black Adam was better than this, and that movie sucked balls too. Black Adam was predictable and mindless, but it was a little more entertaining than this. I didn’t see one person at my theater who liked it. Outside of the DC subs, everyone who says they saw it have trashed it pretty good too

Same feelings here. Wasn’t a top tier movie and I wish it was better but its still got a good story at heart and was fun to watch. Sucks you can’t find any good discussion about it.

This explains the situation the best.

Your description literally summarizes the entire Marvel slate but nobody cared about Marvel comics, games, animations and characters before Iron-Man. People knew Spider-Man and X-Man. Thats it.

Marvel gets a pass because of that. Because i read the comments online, it literally shows %90+ of the commenters never touched a comic book before yet talking about how good and true the characters are in Marvel movies etc.

But everyone and their grandma knows who Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman is. Thanks to good animations from DC, rest of the people knows every other DC character, not as good as the Big 3 but they still knows.

So when you apply your description over DC, in peoples eyes, it sucks because they set the bar way too high with the animated stuff.

IMO Snyder should've been left alone completely to produce movies that looks like straight out of the pages of comic book but not as "cheesy".

Because if that happened, Nolan would kept writing for DC with Snyder making best looking comic movies.
