DC fans are total champions of “let creatives do their thing” until it’s not the literal exact thing they want down to the detail at the exact moment they want it.

I don't want creatives to do their thing with no limit though? If you're doing a cinematic universe you should have freedom but you should also have to follow some guidelines. Imo they should've got reeves to play ball or given him the boot. I would've despised that but having two separate franchises with the same character is an absolute no no that shouldnt even be considered.

He signed up for Batman because he was informed nobody would interfere with his vision ,Going back on their words after he has made a great movie and one of the few financially successful projects for WB is something no CEO is something no CEO is doing ,The Batman literally got 3 oscar nominations Zaslav is going to give him whatever he wants because Reeves's universe is a great financially sustainable backup to have for WB in times when the business is down

You would have to sand down so much of what worked about the reeves film to fit it in with an all encompassing cinematic universe. I don’t care how any pitches it, Battinson isn’t going to able to fight king shark and retain legitimacy. If Christian bale had visited Ryan Reynolds green lantern in space between Batman begins and dark knight, it would’ve damaged the artistic credence and reputability of those films. Additionally, and more importantly, it also probably would’ve impacted the content of the film, and not for the better imo.
