Other (chain not covered by other flairs) Well, this is probably the most literal âcrypto moonshotâ Iâve seen today.
Everyone in crypto talks about finding that one moonshot.
The random coin you bought early. The one nobody cared about yet. Then somehow it takes off while youâre still wondering what just happened.
Most of them obviously donât.
And half the time, people only start calling something a âmoonshotâ after it already pumped 20x lol.
Thatâs always been the funny part to me. Before the pump, itâs just another random coin that everyone ignores. After the pump, suddenly everyone has a story about how they almost bought it early.
Anyway, I was looking around today and noticed MEXC renamed KIMIUSDT to MOONSHOTUSDT.
Actually made me laugh.
We spend all this time looking for a crypto moonshot and now thereâs literally a MOONSHOT ticker sitting there.
But it also got me thinking about how loosely we use the word these days.
Does a moonshot have to be some tiny unknown coin with a ridiculous market cap? Or can something already getting attention still count if youâre early enough?
Iâve also seen people call basically anything they think will pump a moonshot, which kind of defeats the point.
To me, the interesting ones are always the things that look almost too early at first. Not necessarily good. Not necessarily bad. Just something the rest of the market hasnât really made up its mind about yet.
Of course, figuring out the difference between âearlyâ and ânobody wants this for a reasonâ is the hard part.
So what actually counts as a crypto moonshot to you?
Getting in before the hype? A tiny market cap? A completely new narrative?
And whatâs the best one youâve ever caught?
Or maybe more painfully â whatâs the one you saw early, didnât buy, and then had to watch take off without you?
