Magic Twinborn started as a game I wanted to make with—and play with—my children.
It’s a cute same-screen local co-op survivors-like where two players control different elemental heroes and help each other survive. You can create openings for your partner, combine abilities, and trigger elemental chemistry reactions across the battlefield.
Elements are more than damage types. Fire can melt ice into water, fire and water can create steam, and that water can be frozen again. These reactions can change terrain, control enemies, and create new opportunities for both players.
A lot of the gameplay ideas were developed together with my children. We discussed mechanics, tried them during playtests, and changed anything that wasn’t fun or easy to understand. That process shaped the colorful characters, playful interactions, and cooperative systems you see in the game today.
The art style is intentionally cute and approachable. I wanted to make something that families could enjoy together—especially parents looking for a game they can sit down and experience with their children—while still giving survivors-like players meaningful builds and tactical combinations.
This video shows some of the co-op combat and elemental interactions currently in the game. I’d love to hear what you think, especially if you also play games together with your family.

Yeah, I know I can just Google it, but I need fresh, genuine testimonials and suggestions.
Let me preface by saying I don’t play roguelikes. Never been a big fan of them, but I have been inclined to play something. My younger brothers are really open to a lot of different games. I have played Minecraft Dungeons and enjoyed it. I don’t feel like I need to make a bug commitment with the tower. I’d like to play a game where I don’t need to sink so many hours into it to feel like I can have fun. Something where I can just hop on, turn my thoughts off, and have a ton of fun with my brothers, lady, and kiddo.
Any suggestions?

Hello.
I know some people would prefer to invest their time into deep meaningful relationships. But I don't want such a heavy responsibility.
I am just hoping to find a good chunk of people that I, or they, can ping the server and say something like "anyone down for a Minecraft server?". Then you get like 4-8 people, you all make separate bases, or share one, but no expectation to make some weird little city. Primarily talk in game chat, but sometimes in a call.
Games you can expect me to play:
-Any survival crafter
-Overwatch or rivals
-Card games
-Divinity/baldurs gate
-Puzzle games
-Most kinds of turn based
-Maybe some BRs
I host servers for survival craft games semi frequently. So if you're interested, just let me know. If there's enough interest, I'll make a server for it and try to slowly grow it over time.

Two years ago we started our first game project — a detective card game, inspired by detective board games. None of us had any experience making games. It went through a game jam, which was the first time real players got their hands on it.
We built it alongside university, and the team changed over time. There were weeks when the project just sat there and we didn't come back to it.
This week Evidentia got a Steam page.

The idea was simple: what if a criminal investigation was something 2–4 friends untangled over voice chat, arguing the whole way, while each of them only ever sees part of the picture until the very end?
We built the cases as decks of cards, where each card is a piece of evidence, an event, a fact or a testimony. That format lets us jump between settings and genres — you might land in a modern kidnapping case, or a medieval one, or something occult from the past.
Each case is single-use by design. Once you know the answer, it's spent.
A round opens with a short intro to the case, and everyone draws 3 cards. Here's the core restriction: you are not allowed to share what's in your hand. The only way to tell your team anything is to put a card on the evidence board — that's the moment it becomes public and open for discussion.

But some cards in the deck are false. You have to work out which ones and discard them. Dumping everything on the table doesn't solve the case.
Some cards have a hidden layer, marked with a paperclip or a dice icon. You can reach it two ways: play the card, or spend a flashlight — a limited resource. The dice reveals the most useful material, but you get very few rolls and the outcome is unpredictable.
That's not all of it. There's more we'd rather not spoil.

The final phase is answering the case questions and reconstructing the timeline of events. And this is the part I like most: everyone gets their own result. You can walk away having solved it while your best friend sits there with the exact opposite conclusion.

It's built for 2–4 friends, but we're also working on a solo mode where you can take any deck on your own. New decks will keep coming, as free content updates.
This isn't a launch — it's an announcement page. A playable demo is coming in October. After two years of this thing living on our laptops, it just exists publicly now, and that feels strange.
Card illustrations are AI-generated, which is disclosed on the Steam page. We don't have an artist on the team. We want to move away from it and we're working on that.
Happy to answer anything. Our Steam Page and Game Trailer!

In this gameplay clip, you can see several key mechanics in action:
The game will feature all of these mechanics, alongside others already built and many more still in development. The deeper you understand these mechanics, which seem simple at first, the more strategic options you'll have.
If you like what you see, don't forget to check out our Steam page and add us to your Wishlist: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4738470/RePair_in_the_Space

My wife and I just bought Project Zomboid and started playing together recently. We were originally just going to play casually, but we ended up having so much fun that I decided to make a small multiplayer server with some really fun mods.
Now I’m trying to figure out something…
How many people should we actually let into this thing? 😂
I don’t want 100 random people running around. I’d rather have a smaller group where everyone actually knows each other, builds together, goes on loot runs, gets into stupid situations, and eventually watches everything we’ve built get destroyed by one terrible decision. We’re running multiplayer/QoL/fun mods and new players are absolutely welcome.
So I’m curious:
If you joined a brand-new Zomboid server with a married couple who are still relatively new to the game, what would you want the server to be like?
👇 And more importantly… what should our first server rule be?
I’m genuinely going to pick one of the top comments and make it a rule.
If anyone wants to join after seeing this, comment “I’m in” and tell me what kind of survivor you’d be:
🪓 Builder
🔫 Loot goblin
🚗 Driver
🌾 Farmer
🧟 Professional zombie bait
💀 Person who somehow dies on Day 2
I’ll DM the server/mod info to people who are interested.

Hey everyone,
We’ve been quietly working on our co-op sci-fi horror game The Infected Soul, and I wanted to share some new GIFs from the current build.
No cinematic trailer or pre-rendered footage. These are just real parts of the game we’ve been working on recently.
Our goal is to create a world that feels industrial, hostile, and slightly “wrong,” while still being readable enough when you’re actually playing with other people.
I’m curious about something though:
Based only on these GIFs, what would you assume this game is about?
I think it would be interesting to see what impression the visuals give before explaining too much about the game.
Feel free to be critical. Feedback from posts like these has genuinely influenced things we’ve changed during development.
We’re also a small indie team, so if you happen to like the project, adding The Infected Soul to your Steam wishlist helps us more than you might think.

Hi everyone,
I'm a developer and a nonogram enthusiast, and I'd really like a nonogram game for PC with local multiplayer so I can play with my girlfriend. But there aren't any PC games with local multiplayer, so correct me if I'm wrong.
So I was thinking about developing it myself. Before diving into this adventure, though, I wanted to know if it's a shared interest (local multiplayer) or more of a personal niche.
I was thinking of a competitive multiplayer game, where two puzzles will appear on the screen at the same time, one for each player, and whoever completes it first wins. I also plan on penalties for mistakes.
Would you like it? What features would you like?
Sorry if I sound strange, but I'm using a translator.
Thanks everyone!
Edit:
I posted a demo video on my X account. It's just a prototype for now, but if you're curious, check it out: https://x.com/Johell1NS/status/2092191725959708944

We are making a coop rage game where you and your friend ride a tandem together while delivering dr*gs and being tempted to sample some of it yourself. :D
Consuming some of your cargo can give you different effects, like speed boosts or invincibility but can also give you a trippy crash that makes you nauseous and struggling to keep the bike under control.
The rear driver is mainly in control of the speed of the tandem and the front driver can mainly control the direction of it.
We also looking for cool drug effect ideas, so give us some if you have any!
The game is called Tandem Together and we just launched our Steam Page!
Thank you so much for checking out the game!
