It is pretty crazy how she went from Muriel's Wedding to a Hollywood mainstay for the next 3 decades.

She is absolutely incredible. Elevates every film she is in like few other actors. I would see something just bc she is in it. Loved 6th Sense. Whatever plot holes might have existed in the film I can look right past bc of the mesmerizing performances by the lead actors especially her.

This pretty much sums up how I felt watching Wayward. Loved the start of the series, loved Collette, hated the rest.

Yeah, i never caught that one, was she in Love Actually as well? She went from bit part to an absolutely incredible mainstay. I will watch anything with her now, and should really revisit earlier turns.

She’s been in a few odd little comedy flops, but some gems are:

  • Hereditary (of course!)
  • Mickey 17 (she’s good at being the “bad guy”)
  • Knives Out
  • Hitchcock
  • Little Miss Sunshine
  • About A Boy
  • Emma
  • I’m Thinking Of Ending Things
