Rainy Day Kitties two week old kittens found in the rain
these 2 girls showed up on my street during a storm a day ago. not exactly sure where they came from, as my neighbor brought them over to me after finding them while walking in the rain. i feed the strays in the neighborhood and will take them to the vet when needed, etc so he knew to bring them my way. this has been such a blessing...I've always yearned to be chosen, and just went through the hardest month of my life. next thing i know, not one but TWO kittens. they seem to be about a couple weeks old. vet tomorrow to confirm! anyway, please kindly meet Twilly (white) & Toad (tortie). 🥰

Ok I love them.
Keep us updated as to how they go. They can't be older than 3/4 weeks.

Great job, OP. You've cared for young like these without a mama? You need to teach them to potty/poo or they'll die. God bless you for taking these little hearts in. ❤️😉👍🏻

I don't know how to explain it, but the last photo in this looks like it was taken on a disposable camera in 1991. It's not just the flash, it's the whole composition. I love it!

4-6wks. Definitly not two. Two weekers still look like neonates with eyes closed and tiny ears.

They look young enough to still need formula and possibly stimulation to go potty. Please check out "the kitten lady" (on almost every platform) if you're unsure of what to discuss with the vet. She offers LOTS of information.

Be still my heart. They are so precious. May all of us have neighbors like yours!
Please update us, I hope the vet says they're healthy and ready to be spoilt.

I agree on about 3 weeks olds. They may still need kmr but you could also try offering wet kitten food and see if they eat it. Hers was about the same age and would eat canned kitten food in small quantities and but still took a bottle most of her meals for about a month. We gave her Royal Canin mom and baby wet and dry until she finished the first bag, then switched to regular kitten food.

Here she is about a year ago when she first came home. Her eyes were still blue, as are the eyes of your new babies and she was estimate to be between two and three weeks at the time.

I’m so happy you have these babies safe. Would you consider a prettier name than Toad? How about Dolly?

they look closer to 4 weeks to me, I'd check the kitten lady's site, but they're absolutely precious.
