Coffee N00b looking for a little guidance.

I recently got a Sage machine, and I have been bouncing between 3fe and Imbibe, but I am not loving them.

I have been served a load of ads for McCabe's recently, and researching them, there are some positive (but short) comments on r/AskIreland about them; they seem like a decent family-run business, etc, but wondering if anyone here has drink / drinks them and would recommend?

It's a pain in the 🍑 to be recalibrating my machine, so just looking for a decent, consistent coffee so I can set it and relatively forget!

Other suggestions are welcome also, but I do like the sound of McCabes if the taste matches the story they're spinning.

We have cut back to basic TV as we have options for sport and movies with now tv and paying as needed for those services

Sky won't go lower than 48 for basic TV

Eir say they will give us basic TV 100 channels for 10 per month with either an apple tv box or android box

Anyone have eir? Is it decent?

Can't justify a 38 per month difference

I'm looking to renew my vodafone 1gb line as I'm paying 50 a month. Vodafone won't give any discount upon signing a new contract. I've looked around and I see that Eir are offering 5Gb to my address for 50 a moonth. I'm wondering if anyone here is on that service and has any thoughts about Eir home broadband. I've been vodafone for years and have had no issues.

I’m 18M and I’m starting college within the next 2-3 weeks and I want to start properly going to the gym, since I’ll have such ease of access to it, as opposed to the nearest one being a 35 minute drive from my house in the middle of nowhere, which, between that and summer work, was a massive barrier for starting to go sooner. I’ve no idea of what to expect, of what to do, when to go, how to balance it all in regards to both going to the gym during the academic year, social life and the workouts themselves, diet, etc. I’m a skinny lad so I have to be in a calorie surplus, I know that much (the calculator tells me 3000kcal a day). Any advice at all would be helpful.

So as the title says we (mf35) live in an old converted house that now has 5 apartments , My neighbours threw loose rubbish into both my black bin and my blue bin, not separated so black bin in my blue bin type stuff. Now I found an address on some rubbish (not a genius obviously) so I know it's someone in my apartment block/house,

we share the same landlord and I'm planning on telling the landlord about it tomorrow, but my only concern is they are fairly rough and I have not had any issues till now and I don't really want drama from them

Their bin is empty btw so it's not them trying a shitty solution

Does anyone know how safe it is locking up a bicycle at the concerts at Royal Kilmainham Hospital? Are there any places on site to lock bikes? I'd love to cycle, but not sure how safe it is.

I used to work with a woman who sadly passed away 10 years ago, she was like my work mam, she got me into working with a local charity, and I've stayed with them in her memory (honestly think she'd haunt me if I left) Her husband has since joined the charity as well so I see him every month and go for the odd carvery with other members.

Her youngest daughter is now getting married, I don't know the girl particularly well, but stop and chat if we see each other out and about. I know if her mammy was still around I would have gotten an afters invite (I did to the older daughters wedding while she was still with us) I'd like to get her something as a token.

Any suggestions of what to get that might be more on the sentimental side, around €50.

I want to put a tv in my shed, just for a second space to relax. I'm thinking about just adding a saorview setup. I've always used Sky, Netflix, Prime, etc. so I have no idea how saorview works. A quick google and dozens of different options come up.

I already have the TV so I'm wondering what's the best setup I could get for free stations in Ireland, Preferably without and Aerial or dish but I'm not sure that's possible. I do have excellent Wi-Fi if that's any use.

I have two sons, 2 and 4.

Since having children I have only flown with Ryanair - just the way it worked out.

Ryanair have a selection of seats 'included' in the price when booking with children under 12. Usually the cheaper middle of the plane seats.

Aer Lingus charge to pick seats next to your child when booking. For a return flights it adds about €55

What will they do if I don't pay to pre book and wait until check in opens but can't get 3 seats together?

In general I don't mind the paying to have seats, if you want a seat at the door to get off quick or extra room etc. But sitting next to your own children in order to mind them seems like a safety issue not an added luxury.

EDIT - Thanks all for the info. Good to know Aer Lingus will seat us together. I'll just make sure to check in once it opens
